So I have been posting on another website but would like some other opinions.
I have been struggling with poor sexual performance and low libido for some time. I am 22 years old and in relatively good health besides borderline high blood pressure.
I had one total testosterone test at 590 ng/dl. I took tribulus for a few months after this, stopped for 2 weeks, and then had another retest at 345 ng/dl with an e2 of 35. Retrospectively, I have determined that the tribulus was screwing with my emotions and making me depressed and anxious. After this blood test, it was suggested that I take a small amount of arimidex to cut down the e2. I took 1 mg/week spread out evenly for about a month. My e2 tanked and it sucked really bad. I had extreme anxiety/depression and my joints were cracking really bad. I have been off the arimidex for about 1.5 month but my joints are still clicking and I am having some emotional issues (anxiety/depression) that never existed before. Sure the sexual dysfunction got me down before, but now I really don't feel right sometimes. I tend to notice a connection between the clicking and when I feel like crap.
I know this is a complicated situation, but I'm wondering if it's possible that my encounter with the arimidex permanently altered my hormone profile. Based on the nature of the drug, one would think that once it's out of the system, normal estrogen production would return. I'm also wondering if the tribulus can have any long term effects. Frankly, I'm quite worried and hoping that things will return to normal with time. It's mainly the emotional issues that are concerning me right now.
Thanks in advance for your comments.
