15% bf

I hope this doesn't come across as too strange but my goal is to reach around 15% bf by years end. Is there anyone on here that is 15-16% that wouldn't mind sharing a picture. Cause to be honest I really don't even know what 15% bf looks like. Thanks

i hate these comparison pictures. Find multiple different ones and compare them to each other and it looks like whomever threw them together was simply guessing.

Look at the first guy. That ain't 5% no matter how hard you squint. Not even close.

Pic two and three are shit too. The guy in pic two is far more developed than the guy in pic three, but look at the love handle area. Pic three actually looks like he has less fat on him than pic two, but is just less developed.

Fuck these pics. i would go back to the original question and hope someone that has performed a Dexa scan will reply.

It's going to depend on so many factors
that first pic is no where close to sub 10% BF
Here is a comparison picture for 15 % on someone that was amazing development.

That's Mike around 14-15% BF (Got a full scan done at a university medical facility) so it's pretty fucking accurate.

He looks 10x better than the sub 10% picture due to his excellent development.

My advice.
In that chart... move everything one slot to the right and it will be more accurate... the 15% BF in that chart is closer to an actual 20%
I've had Dexa scans done in thr past, and that's the closest observation I can make here.
 
15% is going to look a lot different depending on how you carry fat.

When I start getting to 15%+ I carry my fat around my love handles and belly, so I look like absolute dog shit even though my chest, arms and legs stay fairly lean.

Guys who carry their fat more evenly can look pretty awesome at 15% (see above). It really depends.

I've had multiple dexa scans done because I wanted to know what 15% looked like on me, I feel it's a good baseline for me to stick to but I was never sure where I was really at... I used to use the chart above for an idea but, after getting dexa scans, that chart is completely worthless for me personally.

I need to be at about 12% to look like the 15% picture as far as ab definition. But, even at 18% my shoulders look like 12% from a chart... My front delts always look pretty lean with veins.

I guess my first point is, you will have to find a person in those charts that just so happens to carry bodyfat very similar to how you do. You also need someone at a similar weight to you because muscle, bone, water, etc all affect the bodyfat percentage.

My second point, don't worry so much about the number because it's not as concrete as you think it is. Either diet until you look like what you want to look like or get a dexa scan to see what your number is, but know that it doesn't really mean a whole lot.
 
Yeah I just watching some people at work. Some have chicken legs with big guts, some more evenly distributed. Really is hard to gauge by %. I'm sure it means much more to someone that actually competes at 4-5%.
 
I used to try and get to what was supposed to be considered a lean bf %. But the number varies so much by the person in terms of when your physique will look "lean" which is the only thing that really matters at the end of the day. My buddy has decently lean abs at 15%, but basically no vascularity. At 15% I have almost no abs in sight and decent love handles but I'll have veins in my quads/arms/shoulders without a pump. Just go by the mirror
 
In all honesty the 5-9% pic looks more like an actual 10%. A real 5% just looks gross. Looks unnatural. Most people find it unattractive. 15% is good and healthy. You can look buff enough in clothes and not too much different shirtless. You won’t have much abs showing if any bit this depends on how you carry fat. But 15 is a GREAT goal. Completely obtainable and easy enough to maintain.

Same here. I can have shredded quads covered in veins and still have massive love handles and very modest looking abs purely because of how I store it.

I have fat around my chest (Around serratus)
As well as love handles near the back.

Abs?
Popping well
Veins and striations on my shoulders and solid quad veins.

It looks a bit silly because I only store fat in exactly 3 specific locations lol

Specifically more noticable since I did a 15lb cut..
decided to bulk back up to 240ish after i had a few chuckles about my mirror appearance, so now Im back up to 245.... fun lily enough I look more balanced now
