1st NPP brew

Hey brothers,
Finally did my first homebrew...did some Tren A and Mast E (standard 2%ba/18%bb, dosed 100mg/ml & 200mg/ml respectively).

Then I brewed the NPP. I went with a less concentration with hopes it would prevent the chance of complications in regards to holding/crashing & because I generally respond really well to lower doses anyways (oil volume isn't a concern).

Anyways...i brewed 50ml at 100mg/ml with the standard 2/18. The Tren and Mast were clear/translucent, the npp has no particles in it but is cloudy. Does this mean it isn't holding?
I figured at 100mg/ml 2/18 would be more than sufficient? I overdosed by 5% (short ester), also added 2ml more of BB to see if that would resolve the cloudiness..it didnt

I mixed the ba, bb, then NPP powder (5.5grams)..gave it a little heat then mixed in the desired quantity of GSO also preheated. To heat I used a water bath at a temp 140-155 degrees.(monitored w/ digital thermometer)

Any suggestions? I have so many bookmarks from studying homebrewing over the years but cant seem to find the right one, i apologize in advance as I know this has prob been asked a million times.

Any help would be appreciated brothers.

Cloudy gear is usually moisture brother. Transfer your npp into a sterile pyrex and then bake for 30 minutes at 150 degrees F. That should evaporate any moisture. Refilter when cool. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll try that right now. Any techniques to get filtering done faster? I have a caulk gun it's way in the mail..so I'm using an 18g attached to the .2 whatman w/ another 18g venting the sterile vile. I'm putting considerable force on the plunger..is it supposed to filter at a literal drip pace? I was just worried about blowing out the filter by pressing to hard as I only have a small handful on hand currently.

Filtering warm oil requires noticeably less force

Yes, thank you. I was filtering it right after it was brought to temp to reduce viscosity. It took me probabaly around an hr(or more) to filter each 50ml batch. I knew itd be tedious and take awhile, i just seriously underestimated HOW long haha. Pretty good forearm and hand pump going tho

The NPP cleared up. I baked it for 45 mins at 170 and looks gtg!

I’d ditch the water bath and get yourself a hot plate with a magnetic stirrer. It was the source of your current problem and will continue to cause issues in the future.

No issues with any of the other 300mls brewed.. But eventually I do intend to at least go with the magnetic stirrers..maybe a hot plate if I find a good deal but atm as long as one is not careless I dont think it's absolutely necessary

Would you do the same thing for Tren if it was acting the same way? I just did my NPP and cleared it up. TY for the help.
