Getting down to business - has anyone actually run a 2 week cycle? If so what can you say about it, what did you use, dosages, sides, benefits, did it work?

I've read the articles from Bill Roberts who says Tren A & Dianabol @ 50mg / day each as a 2 week cycle can work very well. Reported benefits are that you don't actually shut down test production at 2 weeks (but you do at 3 so if wanting 3 weeks you may as well run 8). You just stop producing hormones telling you to produce testosterone and with short esters you can bounce back to normal within a week, using clomid for 1 week whilst you return to normal.

Also having read wide ranging experiences on Tren I'm going to try it but also like avoiding sides as much as possible and shorter cycles sounds a safer place to start.

Math is that you run it 8 times in a year to be comparable to someone who does a 16 week cycle. I.e. you compare total weeks on as a 2 week cycle is obviously not comparable to a 16 week cycle.

This sounds great for someone who wants freedom from longer cycles to be able to take a break for whatever reason and maintain reproductive function (I want kids some time in the next few years).

The one thing is I have not seen nothing about anybody else actually running this - let me know if you have had any experiences with this.

Unless corrected here I would be eating clean maintenance calories with increased protein intake (1.4g/lb vs. usual 0.8-1g/lb).

Bit of background on me and my experience if you want to know (no further questions in the below)

30/m and at the back end of my first cycle (525TE split into 0.5ml of TE 300EoD pins) of 16 weeks and planning my next - will fully PCT out, not looking to be on B&C just yet.

I just switched from 24G to 27G pins and makes quads doable, was really uncomfortable before. Used 22G for first few weeks and did not enjoy it. Extra time to pin well worth it in my view. Mostly go for quads, outer hams, occasionally glutes.

Have seen great results in terms of strength, muscle gain and fat loss at maintenance calorie levels with high protein.

Have bloodwork and I'm around 88nmol/L of testosterone (or around 2,500ng/dl or depending on how you measure), was originally on the low side of normal T levels at 13nmol/L (375ng/dL). E2 is in normal range both times, slightly high prolactin which I'm fixing w/ 4 weeks of caber at which point I'll be just about coming off anyway so no need to go longer, it was high end of normal when natty so I'm just naturally prone to this - guess I'd have great tits if I were a woman, also may explain why my girlfriend calls me "pretty" and not "hot" haha.

Only used one source ever so can't be certain on dosage of the vials under/over as everyone reacts differently.

Only side was a slight bit of gyno, small lump under left nipple (no sensitivity or any other symptoms), had as a teenager also but being a teenager was too embarrassed to do anything about it, at the time I was about 10% bf and natty but do have high end of normal prolactin normally. Taking Raloxifene at 60mg/day for a few weeks to see what happens. Also 0.25mg of arimidex EoD worked well to get rid of some additional spots I'd started to get on shoulders.

Also had no mental sides, either positive or negative, generally felt the exact same.

This is a very old school Bill Roberts style of cycle. Modern classic if you will. Early to mid 2000's era.

Personally I have experimented with crazy dosages for short period of time 10 days to 3 weeks. The only beneficial use of such big bang cycles would be with orals such as dbol to break through a plateau or to regain lost muscle quick. In terms of quality gains, well, for seasoned steroid user it's a waste of time, money, drugs and more importantly health in my opinion. Moderate blasting for longer time leads to more quality over quantity.

Thanks, super helpful datapoint. In my limited experience the gains really picked up from week 6 onwards so this makes sense to me too.

Did you notice any averse health affects from the high dose short blasts? Did the side effects have time to kick in fully?

What a good idea
Having hormonal spikes for 2 weeks
With no significant muscle growth and possibly mood swings, acne, etc
To be clear - not my idea, completely stole it from Bill Roberts - as Lukiss noted above it may be a bit new old school thinking. Having done a 16 week cycle I've been 2 weeks in before and didn't get any mood swings, acne etc. but also I haven't used Tren so I don't know how I would react.

Playing devils advocate, if you're having bad sides is a shorter cycle not preferable?

Have you done a 2 week cycle before or something you prefer to avoid generally?
