Isn't this whole debate missing the main point of taking a little sugar/simple carbs pre,during,post workout anyway? Who cares of its effect on GH for a transient period of time one way or the other. Insulin will benifit you more in the acute recovery period after a workout more than GH anyways..... Thats the whole carbohydrate timing thing.....I don't understand why this thread was so heated.
As far as an answer to your question -- I always thought a 3:1 or 4:1 ration +-15minutes of and during your workout.....
