2mg Semaglutide - by Mistake !

Partner has done 2mg as first ever dose, rather than 0.2g at around 9pm yesterday

Felt sick by 1am, violently vomiting at 3am and feels alike absolute crap all day today

We are assuming this is the Semaglutide, but there was a re-heated dinner at 7pm so small chance it’s not.

Assuming it’s is, I’m guessing that it will settle down in the next 72 hrs as the dose wears off and although it’s towards the maximum end of doses it’s not an actual overdose ( albeit it should be “built up” to that level)

Anyone do / experience the same ?
Any advice ?

Much appreciated

You're just going to have to wait and ride it out.

You mean they meant to take 0.2 mg correct? Not grams? If 0.2 mg was the target dose then the concentration in that person's body will get to about there in roughly 3 weeks. While you wait, you can brush up on your basic math and dilution and how to not torture them again.

Yes - and the was that she pulled just a fraction over the 0.2 mark - didn't quite work out like that and I wasn’t around to see what she was doing
She pulled the full 2

Besides feeling terrible and vomiting, it's unlikely she'll have any serious side effects. Just make sure that she's pooping regularly as the one side effect I would worry about is paralyzed bowel. Very unlikely this will occur though. Maybe have her take a solid dose of magnesium everyday.

Just an update in case anyone else ever ends up in similar

We are now 36hrs after injection

She has not vomited today. So the vomit phase lated 24hrs.

Has has something very light to eat and kept it down ( chicken soups and a roll)

Feels better than she did but not “well” ( it’s a relative scale).

That sounds rough. Was she using one of the dosing pens or a vial? The click pens can be confusing to a new user.

If from a vial I'd suggest getting tiny syringes. To attempt to limit error.

I am sure that the error will most likely not happen again.

Thats a ruff a mistake to endeavor. I'm happy to hear she's doing slightly better. Best of luck.

Yeah man, good to hear she's getting better. We all fuck up sometimes.

@TenPin How is your lady doing? I'm assuming the weight loss is happening faster than she planned! Jokes aside is she feeling better?
Substantial better - it took a full week in all honesty to start to approach “normal”
appetite is beginning to return and of course there has been weight loss “a lot of it” but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it as a course of action.

One of our teacups ate a 50 mg anadrol pill and some chocolate in the same day. He weighs like 3 pounds. I panicked and called the vet to ask about the chocolate. LOL. Come on mg/kg anadrol and I didn't even think of that.

Sounds like it had the desired effect in the end

I just cant imagine how people can figure out how to order drugs and the take a vial in one shot and not realize it.... mistakes happen but KNOWING your taking full ml something u put 1ml in and nothing left should, should of clicked.

anyway, glad on the up and up.. guess there is a reason gov has so many regulations in the USA..
