I’m 42 was on a cut for 9 months and did it the right way this time eating very clean so weight came off slower but added muscle, confirmed via dexa scan. I started my first bulk 4 weeks ago after feeling exactly like that and seeing the weight go up is tough to get over at first. I will say though that eating very clean on this bulk it’s so much more food quantity than eating crap, you feel much better, and I track everything so I know I’m hitting all my macro goals so there will be little to no fat gain. I have gained 7lbs, stronger, and so much energy. Everything for me will be a recomp as I’m sure it will take me another year or more to get to my bf target. I will say I have learned so much from this board overall but
@Cridi887 in particular. So detailed, trial and error, and real. That’s why I get my dexa 4 times per a year now too.
