I was hoping to get some feedback on a UFC bet I plan on making. www.sportsbook.com offers the option to bet that the Sylvia/Arloveski fight will go under two rounds. The odds are at -120 (You need to wager $120 to win $100). I was thinking about betting an even $120.

Besides the obvious reasons, Sylvia has won all his last 8 fights by either KO or TKO in the first or second round (most in the first). 6 of Arloveski's last 8 fights have ended in the first or second round. I don't see how this fight is going over 2 rounds. What do you all think of this bet?

It's probably a safe bet. If Arlovski doesn't keep his guard up, there's a good chance he'll get put out. Personally, my money is on Arlovski scoring a quick takedown and then pounding Tim out, which should also be much before the 2nd round.

Grizzly, I just re-read my post and realized that I wasn't clear. The bet is that the fight is over before the beginning of round 3. I agree with you that the fight will most likely end in the first round and I think that it is virtually impossible for it to go over two rounds. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Besides, its not like you are going to lose money. You know you technically dont have to pay off internet gambling debts if you live in a state where gambling is outlawed. They cant take you to court. So go ahead and bet all you want and just stiff them on the bill.

The way this site works is that one must first create and fund an account before one can bet. Are there really offshore gambling houses which don't collect money up front? I'd guess that half of their clients wouldn't pay after a substantial loss. In truth though, I'd still pay. Reverse scamming is just as scummy as scamming.

Didn't Tito already beat him? I am not going to read this whole thread,i know i missed it,but i'm glad Chuck won. Tell me he didn't look like he was crazy before that fight. Tito was jumping around like a little girl as usual and did you see the glare in Chucks eyes? He looked like he was happy in a psycotic way I liked it when Crocop beat the guy in the last Pride That guy has a strong kick. I think i'd rather get hit by a car,then get kicked by him.
