The two fighters in that fights wouldn't stack against the average
light heavy of today's MMA. Tito did nothing but lay on Wndy and got the decision. Wandy was way too aggressive those days (the reason he lost to Vitor in a misrable way). Look at his recent fights, against Saku (last one), or his fight against Rampage, now this Wandy is someone that UFC light heavies shouldn't miss with ('cept for Randy and maybe Vitor).
Another factor was the cage, Tito depends on the cage too much, if he fights in pride, he's in Wandy's turf.

I know. I was just bringing it up. That's why a lot of UFC guys wouldn't do well in Pride though. I'm a cage user, too. I really like the cages. It works well for a giant GnPer like me.

I also like the 10min first round of PrideFC. Us submission guys need that time to work our stuff out. I think the 10mins separates the men from the boys.
Tito vs. Wandy would be good to see again. Wandy is a different guy now, but Tito is always dangerous. That's what makes that weight class so good. So many of the guys could be champ but it all depends on that night. They need to give Silva some more tough guys like randy, tito, heno again, rampage and chuck again and crocop and vitor again. They would all be anybody's fight Silva's recent victim could honestly weigh in at 180 if he wanted too. Minowa had no business in there when there are so many other great guys.

Exactly! The ropes allow for too many easy escapes. In several of my fights, the guy would get in trouble and "somehow" end up outside the ropes. I'm not a fan. That's why I love fightining in Mexico. They have a huge, nice cage. It's great!

I was at the last UFC (watching my boy charruto kick newtons ass) and will probably be at this one....I have to say I like Chuck over Tito...Tell you what, these two are big light heavys.....But I dont think tito has got much on Chuck skill wise...And boy did Vitor look to be in great shape!!!
