Hey all, I know from reaserching on behalf of my wife there is a lot of interest in the topic and not much info comparative to men’s cycles. She’s not much of a blogger but I thought I’d post her experiences, results, pics, and answer questions over the course of this 12 week journey. As stated in the title, she is 49, her diet is very good and she’s no stranger to exercise. Her exercise is a mix of CrossFit and core/strength/conditioning classes taken at Lifetime fitness. She is under the care of a physician so this is pharma grade var from a compounding pharmacy. Her doc has her on 12.5 mg of var per day for 12 weeks. So far she has been on it 5 days and no noticeable side effects, possible upset stomach but highly likely that’s not related. She’s not your typical 49 yo, she’s fit thanks to a combination of good genes as well as hard work, she’s 5’8” 130 lbs and about 14% BF per a dexa scan. I’ll post her before pics and we will let this rip!
