Hi, I'm going to be 52 years old this year. I'm on my second year of injectable TRT through my local clinic. I Started with 160 split weekly, and now I'm tolerating 180 split weekly very well. I take .5 Anastrozole a week, and it makes a huge difference with my mood / concentration. I trained as a powerlifter in the 80's up to the age of 17, and totaled 1150 pounds in three lifts in one competition at 16. I never used enhancing drugs until I started TRT.
I've always worked labor intensive jobs, and it wasn't until 8 years ago that I decided to tackle health and fitness. I changed my diet, began daily notebooks of my progress in the small gym I made for myself, and dealt with my injuries and surgeries with passion and patience.
I am under the supervision of doctors at my clinic concerning my TRT, and I have regular full panel blood work done.
I'm here to learn, and the only "source" I would consider for any type of testosterone add on, would come from an approved compounding pharmacy and a written prescription. This is something I've recently discussed with my clinic, and Oxandrolone / Anavar is something they would like to offer, but claim to have difficulty finding a pharmacy they can work with.
My out of pocket cost for HRT is expensive, but the service is flawless, and the location is 15 minutes drive from my home. If I'm going to give my very best in life, in the gym, and at the dinner table, then I only want the best supplements going in my body. That's what seems fair to me. I researched Anavar because of the good reviews from multiple sources online, and feel like a low dose, short cycle is something I would excel with as a first timer, just seeing how well my body tolerated the medication. But I'm no expert, and welcome any suggestions or insight. I'm 50 + years old and have obvious joint issues that require about 6 hours a week with strict stretching routines, and PT (learned from paid 1-2 month outpatient physical therapy appointments) for recurring issues like shoulder impingement. Everything that I do outside of the gym, dictates just how hard I can push myself when I have the OPPORTUNITY to do resistance training. It took years to learn this, and is likely going to be the foundation that supports me as I continue to age. I look forward to comments and suggestions. Sincerely, Baby Gains
