500 test 6 month cycle

Hiya,

Quick question, how long are your cycles?

I’m currently running 500 Test E a week, just finished my Anavar 8 week bump and want to keep going with the test.

I’m not running 1000 a week or anything nutty, currently running 500 and I feel amazing and would like to keep growing into the summer, how long would you feel comfortable running 500 a week for?
 
Probably 16-20 weeks, maybe get bloodwork at the 10-12 week mark to see If you're good to keep going (or not)
 
Keep BP under control and it will be fine.

Go to any German bodybuilding forum and 5-6 months is basically the starting period for any T cycle because we found out 'American' 10-12 weeks cycles are basically useless ;)

The correct question would be in this stage of your gear journey, how consistent are you and the level of your development.

In my opinion, you can plan on how long you blast but you will have to adjust along the way. How is your health markers midway, baring any injuries, will you need a deload to further progress around 4,6 or 8th week? Can you eat and train with intensity for 20 weeks?

Are you going to be satisfied with what you achieve in 20 weeks or you have to extend because you feel like you can dig in more and would not leave gains on the table.

There are various factors to consider. In my opinion plan for a certain number but also be flexible to adjust accordingly. 12-20 weeks is a great number for us common gymbros.

Some more information would be beneficial such as your age, BP, overall health, diet etc.

If your a young lad and take very good care of yourself and have no underlying health issues then running 500 mg for the foreseeable future would not be an issue.

I personally began using gear in my early 20s, I am now in my mid 40s and run TRT dosages. I have been using Test 250-750mg per week for basically the last 20ish years and my health is very good. I know guys in there 60s running 250-500 mg per week of Test who are still hitting the gym hard, and they have regular medical check-ups and have no issues.
 
I dont want to say keep going until you plateau but imo if you keep your diet and training in check with 500mg a week you should make really good improvements at a good rate and shouldn't need to go higher. I imagine with everything in check by week 16 you will plateau

My health - feeling really very good, around ten years younger in fact and my BP is good, cholesterol is also decent.

I’ll keep blasting and see how things go.
