Hey guys, 5'6 3/4", 195lbs, 12% body fat. Started this cycle 4 weeks ago at 170lbs 12% body fat.
My question is about fats and carbs in the bloodstream. Here's my hypothetical. 100 grams of fat are eaten and broken down into FFA's to circulate the bloodstream. A good 6-8 hour fuel source for myself. What would happen if I added 30g of sugar to that 100 grams of fat. Would the body continue to burn the FFA's and ignore the small amount of glucose in the bloodstream? Would the body burn the small amounts of glucose in the bloodstream and not release insulin? Would the body continually release insulin to try and store the 30 grams of sugar, continually storing FFA's instead of burning them for fuel bc there are so many in the bloodstream?
Thanks in advance to anyone who puts my mind to ease.
