Good training day last nite. We used the 3 board the last two weeks, so we went to the 4 board, but with a little twist. We doubled the green bands which gave us about 300 lb of additional tension at the top. We used 150 lb DB's to hold the bands down and had to put 30 lb DB's on top of the 150"s to keep them down on the floor!
4 Board Bench with Doubled Green Bands: w/ups, 185/3, 225/3, 275/3, 315/3, 345/3 This was pretty tough as the total bar weight was somewhere around 645 at the top.
4" Rack Lockouts: 505/3, 550/3, 590/3, 635/3, 650/3
3 sets of 8 lite pushdowns.
When we use the bands we typically will do the bands one week than try for a raw (no Bands) PR the next week using the same board.
