800mg DNP?

Is 800mg a bad idea? I barely feel any of the sides at 600mg DNP, in fact, I feel great. I would like to test my threshold with 800mg of DNP, but I realize that for most people it's a pretty dangerous level to be at... But at a week+ of 600mg DNP, the only side that I really feel is that I get winded easily when doing extra activity, otherwise everything else is extremely tolerable. So 800mg... yea or nay?

I've seen some guys take 800mg or even 1 gram, but thats gettin risky.

how long have u been on it, and how did u dose it?

Been on DNP for 2 weeks now. 200mg for 2 days... 400mg for 5 days... 600mg the rest of the way. Actually going from 200mg to 400mg felt the worst, but 400mg-600mg was a breeze.

BRO where did u get the DNP ... was it from a good source ? ... i know a guy who was up to 1G a week and didnt feel shit ( it was fakes) ... when he switched to another good known source he couldnt even take 500mg a day

DNP is from a very trusted source on this board. The weightloss would suggest that it's dosed pretty well, and I definitely felt the initial sides... but I think I just became accustomed to it. Either that or the bottom of my bottle was somehow bad and the top wasn't, lol. But I'd say I trust the source.

Hmmmm... decided not to. Read too many logs of people skirting with death at 800mg, or at least feeling like it. Although it is weird that I'm barely feeling anything at 600mg and everyone complains about sides at this dosage.

A quickly developing tolerance to DNP is talked about in the original research. It can always be overcome with more DNP though. There's also the fact that individual response greatly varies. Some people can simply radiate the excess heat better than others. If your temperature is under 99 deg, then you might consider raising the dosage. If adding 200mg/day puts your temperature over 100 deg, then you need to back off on the dosage.

Interesting... so if I'm under 100 degrees right now, and I take an additional 200 I should be find? Does raising tolerance = less of a metabolic effect, or does it simply mean you can take more?

No. If you're under 99 degrees right now, you might consider an addtional 200mg, which may or may not be fine. If an additional 200mg puts you over 100 degrees, then it'd be best to drop back down.

It usually means both, but the ultimate determinant of whether or not you can take more is your body temperature. If it's already high, you shouldn't be adding any more DNP.

Interesting... I took my oral temperature with a digital thermometer that I just bought. It read 95.1.. I don't think it's broken as I just bought it. Could my body have lowered T3 that much to compensate for the increased heat output so that my temperature is much lower? I believe I have low T3 levels to begin with from dieting for so long, as well as having a naturally horrible metabolism.

That's a very low temperature. I wouldn't be surprised if you're hypothyroidal. Before doing any more dieting or DNP I'd go see a doctor and get your thyroid checked out soon. Seriously. It sounds like an underlying problem that you need to get fixed.

I've been taking 250mg/ed for a week and my body temp is a steady 99.5.

I wish that I had been taking my oral temperature more frequently before/during the cycle... My guess is that 1) I'm somewhat hypothyroid, so my oral temp is low to begin with. 2) Building up "tolerance" in effect lowered my T3 levels, thereby lowering my body temperature. As I said, I barely feel 600mg anymore except in the heat/heavy breathing aspect.

Conc, yeah I will go see one ASAP... unfortunately, I've been preparing since march for a show, and am worried that having to discontinue will throw me off -- and for that, I am being stupid about my health, but fully understand the risk. The whole basis that I am turning to DNP is because despite dieting healthily and hard, the weight fails to come off at a certain point. Obesity runs through half of my family, so you might be right in the hypothyroidal theory... but I'm going to put it off for another 6 weeks.
