does anyone take insulin with there gear? i know it goes with the hgh, but does anyone just take it with test or anything? if so how much?

yes slin works well with anabolics.. the dosage depends..

If you have to ask about the use and benefits and dangers of insulin, stay away from it. It's a loaded gun with a hair trigger. Leave it for the pro's. I know it's tempting, two of my budies usede it "wrong" one got fat over three months , the other went into a coma for a few hours, right as we were loading him in the car to go the er....he woke up, didn't know where he was etc. At least he got a Snickers bar to bring him around again! Please research, and reach the level you need to be at before you explore the insulin thing.

proken is right.. i researched it for at least a year before i started using..
you have got to be very disciplined when it comes to slin, incorrect use can cause fat gain and or death... its not for the novice...

Just avoid fatty foods for several hours after. We take insulin because it will carry more protien and etc to the muscles. A downside is that it will also carry more fat to fat stores. You insulin levels are back to normal in a few hours, so just eat lean after you inject.

Oh ya, btw, this stuff will kill you.

that depends on what insulin you are using, If we are talking about humalog then yea..about 4 hours and its gone, but Humulin R and the other longer acting slins linger around longer.
 
Hey Slin ain't that bad. You DO need to respect it. But you'll get plenty of warning signs before your butt passes out. Research, Research, Research. Read the insulin primer & start with Log. Start very low like 3-4iu and work your way up 1iu every 2 days or so until you hit 10iu. I can't make it to 10iu without consuming to many carbs. I hover around 6-8iu's. Stay safe.

Insulin is not as dangerous as people make it out to be. Why anyone would use anything other than humalog is beyond me. The potency per unit time of humalog is ideal for our needs as is its shorter window of activity. Overshoot the carbs per IU by 25% or so the first few times and ween yourself down to the right amount of simple carbs/IU for YOU. 10g/IU is simply a guideline. Don't take in fats during the window of activity and don't take it within 4.5 hours of bedtime to be safe. It wouldn't be a bad idea to monitor glucose levels before and after you begin taking slin. Read up on dextrose and maltodextrose (optional).
Slin for dummies:
lift...so you finish at least 5 hours before bedtime (so AM lifters are fine too)
immediately post w/o, take your slin (humalog) start w/2IU
w/in 10 min, take in 12.5g of dextrose in water/IU of slin (this ratio will decrease as you find your necessary glucose intake) You can also take your creatine/glutamine here too
After taking in the dextrose, be making your post w/o shake with ~100g of whey...no fats (save your omega 3,6,9 oils for later or earlier)
~1.5-2 hours later eat another high protein, no fat meal (solid). carbs here will be contingent upon how you feel, but some carbs are important.

I Love insulin! I use HUMALOG, and wouldn't use any other kind.. It's in and Out.. I take mine (10iu's) post work out, then I wait 15 minutes before Taking my shake(Twinlab Mass Fuel).. I do a three exercise three set ab work out while waiting those 15 minutes, then hit the Heavy bag with whatever time is left over.. Mass fuel has 51 grams of Protien. only .5 grams of fat(awesome), and enough sugar and carbs per 1 serving to cover 10 iu's.. I wait about 45 minutes and then drink a Noriche Smoothie(Yougurt) by Yoplait, ZERO FAT!.. I'm good to go after that.. But, I always have another one on hand incase I need to use more.. Never had to and been on Insulin a while.. M-F and weekends off.. If your using anything besides HUMALOG, You'll need to drink a drink every 45 mins to an Hour.. Just make sure you look at the Duration of the insulin you are using.. To me, it's Dangerous, but not hard to use if you respect the basic rules of Carbs and sugars per IU, and time frames to use them..

insulin has worked great for me, just like n e thing it's best to research b4 you try...it definitely has it's risks-but as long as you are aware of them and carefull...it will work great(i usually care candy, or glucose tabs-walgreens just in case)

Question for ya.
Would taking a carb drink like carb force work? It has 109grams carb " 33 sugars". Then 1 hour later eating a meal such as egg whites, cottage cheese "fat free", and veggies. Also if one overdoes the carbs will that make you fat like intaking fat does?

I never mess with preformulated carb drinks or fruit drinks, which contain fructose. Fructose works, but glucose is the most directly usable simple sugar. Just buy pure dextrose for dirt cheap from baking or brewing stores and mix it with water. This way you can be extremely accurate and it's easier to tweek your dosage of carbs......plus, you're using pure glucose.

Gains from it, as with anything, are individualized. You can run it alone or layered with a cycle. It has some great synergy when used with GH. it is extremely beneficial post w/o to restore muscle glycogen stores and for its general nutrient shuttling properties. it's also great in the AM to supress cortisol, which is at its peak in the AM
