9/11 inquiry finds no link to Iraq

Speaking of the Koran, what does it say of treaties. I saw firsthand during the first Gulf War how Muslims that surrender are treated by their own people, lined up and shot.

Hold on there jbiggs, we never shot anyone, there have been Iraqis living in Saudi Arabia since 1990 (they surrendered and the government gave them homes and food here), they started going back by buses in the past few months to their home. Some still chose to stay and the government welcomed their decision.

The Qur'an doesn't say we should kill prisoners. The verse you're referring to is being taken out of context, it was about the first battle (they were both Arabs, in fact, they were cousins). The prisoners were released after that battle for a sum of money, God said they shouldn't have done that, coz those people went back home, rallied/regrouped, and fought the prophet AGAIN. They killed his daughter soon after coz she was still married to one of them (they pushed her off her camel, she fell and she had a child so she miscarried, she was never ok after that and she died).

In that verse, God said you shouldn't have let them go until you and your men become a force so if they strike back you have what it takes to fight them. The second battle the Muslims lost the battle and were almost annihilated, had they not let them go, they wouldn't have had come back for a second attack.

Oldtimer,

Who is "we." Unless your one of the members of the Syrian army who lined up 300 Iraqi soldiers and slaughtered them for surrendering. After that, most Iraqis would only surrender to US troops. I never even mentioned the Saudies. I spent six months in Saudi in 1991 and enjoyed it. A little warm for my tastes though.

I agree the Koran is a misunderstood book and is often taken out of context, but unfortunately that is what radicals and terrorists do. They also point to the history of Muhammad and how he fought "Holy Wars."

Yup, most of the holy books are misinterpreted. The problem is that people interpret them the way they want to so they could justify their actions. This is not the first time it happens, it happened to the Christians too (crusades etc.). That's why i always tell people that we can't fight these people with guns, you simply can't fight a belief with a rifle, you have to fight it with logic.

Look at that we agree on something. It's just too bad it always seems to come to rifles, bombs, etc. It's just hard to fight with logic when bullets are flying at you.

If iraq had no ties to al-quida than how did abu al zarquawi end up in Iraq after he left afghanistan to get medical attention. You think it was coincidence that a hospital run by Uday hussein had zarquawi the head of the terrorist front now, come to Baghdad for Medical attention. This is how Al-quida works, they have multiple and loose ties to many countries and areas. They have sympathizers everywhere. Once zarquawi left the hospital he traveled north to an al-quida camp of anwar al islam that was in fucking Iraq. So don't tell me that Al-quida had no ties or relations with Iraq and Hussein because that is bullshit.

Until you guys read the PNAC documents you honostly will have no clue about what is really going on.

Me being a muslim myself support the war on afghanistan but the iraq one is still a blur to me. First off it was said that Saddam is building nuclear weapons to blow up the entire planet to kingdom come. They looked n looked nothing was found. The second time around it was said after saddam was caught that we are doing all this to help the people of iraq to rebuild.Like how? By making them suck each other dicks in prison??? They apparently dont want the US army their. All that money wasted could have been spent here in the US helping young people with college, drug abuse problems and most of all to reduce the prices on the fuckin gas. I sure dont enjoy paying 2.15 for the cheapest Gas i could find.I am seriously considering not using my A/C at all.

Im sorry greyowl, I usually respect your views. However, you are ignorant by thinking and making this post on a published proven liberal based newspaper. Yes, the 9/11 commitee claimed that no ties were found between Iraq and 9/11. That doesnt mean that there are none. The problem with the world is they are swayed and lead like dogs by the media.

Its not proven the Bonds has juiced, so it must mean that he has never taken AAS? LMFAO

You are way to quick to judge and thats the real problem in todays society.

I know about the PNAC documents you looser. The only people who bitch about them are pussy liberals who don't give a flying fuck about the future of this country. People like you who think that America being a super power is a bad thing.

I never said America being a superpower was a bad thing. What they are trying to do is to eventually create a One-World-Goovernment (NWO). Do some studying up on the Freemasons and Illuminati.
