A n00bs first cycle - Test E

Well kinda glad it's not just me.

i shit you not i get sore delt and forearm just brushing my teeth wtf? Pisses me off. Really didnt think this kinda thing happened with test only.

Gonna see how right glute pin feels next week then make a decision but definitely not doing left glute again. Looks like i will need to try a quad.
 
Quads will be a little rough first few times. But after that it's nice. Especially since you can use both hands. One to keep the pin straight and the other to inj. I would Only go 1" in on quads.
 
So where i pinned is swelling the fuck up and really hard, like a fist size but under the skin, not visibly swollen out. Pain wise its pretty much the same pip pain when pressed which is hopefully a good sign.

Really hope this was just bad technique and not the gear or injecting into something other than muscle.

No idea wtf im gonna wake up to tomorrow.
 
Dude I had the same thing happen when I pinned my quad. Take 800-1000 mg of ibuprophen or pracetemol. Thats what another member on here told me to do. And it helped drastically. The redness was almost all gone the next day and the swelling very much reduced. I took another 1000mg when I woke up and the shit was pretty much gone that night. Also I recommend buying a few whatman .22 syringe filters. So u can filter ur gear into a different sterile vial. Just to be safe. Im filtering all my gear from now on. They are cheap too.
 
On it buddy thanks. I have some piroxicam gel i use for my back so i rubbed that on earlier and just took 1000mg ibuprofen. Will see how it goes. Will look into the filters too my man, thanks a lot.
 
Quick update, its still pretty much the same but at least it hasnt got worse, was kinda worried it was gonna be blown up to fuck when i woke up. Will keep taking anti inflammatory meds.

Also, i weighed in this morning 12lbs heavier than pre cycle and we're at the half way point. Its fucked up, some days i think i look bigger and some days i dont. Definitely notice the bloat on my face now so obviously holding a lot of water.

Having second thoughts on hitting anavar for the last 4 weeks after hearing about the calf pumps. I get a lot of cramp in my left calf due to the leg being partially numb from back problems so i know heavy calf pumps will make that worse.

Looking into alternatives for cutting on the last 4 weeks. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to throw them at me.
 
Absolutely fine now bro, in the end it was no worse than the usual pip but that swelling did give me a bit of a scare.

Currently using 1" pins so went to the exchange today and got myself some 1.5". Need to do some research to see what others use and if theres any difference in pinning.

What size you using buddy?
 
I use 22g 1.5 for glutes. Only pinned quads once with a 25g that sucked ass. Trying to stay away from quads though I might have to hit my quad tomorrow. I have read people filling slin pins with their oil and using those. They say it doesnt hurt at all. Im still looking into this though.
 
Yeah think i'm gonna need to hit quads at some point, especially when i start on prop eod.

Will do right glute next week with the 1.5" then try the left one more time with a 1.5". I'm thinking my problem was a combo of the 1" needle and too much angle. If its still a bitch i'll need to go to quads every 2nd pin. Needs must.
 
I'm thinking also to do a first cycle of only test-e but without the hcg.Also I have read several places that deca is better o_O Im pretty confused.And I also read that you do not need hcg even in PCT tamoxifen is enough?

What's your reasoning for not doing hcg?

I have read some studies or what they were on internet,that they cause the hipotalamus gland to shrink(just like the testes with AAS,so you are helping the testicles to not shrink all the way but you are shrinking the gland which is responsible for all hormones balance).And after you come off hcg the tesosterone levels will be way lower than normal. :confused: (I"m also a medical student and this would be pretty logical). But to be honest I cant give advice,I'm not a doctor yet :)
 
WEEK 7 PIN 7 - FUCKING BUZZING!

Just had my best ever pin which has me absolutely buzzing! First time using what I thought was a 1.5" pin but was actually a 1.25". Set myself up and BOOM in like butter without even thinking about it, that's the first time I've pinned without any hesitation at all.
Aspirated then pushed in slowly then withdrew with almost zero blood, normally I bleed for a good few minutes. One thing I noticed is that my handling of the needle has got so much better, much more confident with it and less fucking about which = less needle movement. This was in my much favoured right glute which has been really kind to me, next week I'll give the left one more try with the new size needle and see how it goes.

Got my var last week so will start it either this week or next. Have ordered some Taurine and a BP monitor so won't start until I have those on hand and checked my BP as a precaution.

Gonna switch up my training regime and having read @OdieM cycle log I think I'm gonna give the TUT shit a go for the rest of this cycle. I do this for certain exercises now and then so gonna bring it into absolutely everything and see how it goes. Stoppani's Shortcut to size programme has served me well and although it's designed to not let your body get used to WTF is going on with microcycles I think my body has somehow adjusted from doing it so often so need to switch it up.

Wighed in today at 81kg (178lb) so weight gain has slowed down a lot, that's only 2lb in the last week.

Chest & Bi's today so I'm off to throw a barbell about like an empty sweatpant in the wind.
 
Just back from gym and had to cut my workout short. When I say short, it was 2 hours, but I didn't get all my exercises done. I got hungry as fuck and tired as fuck and had to leave to get some food. That TUT really takes it out of you and it's gonna take some getting used to.

I normally train fasted but there's just absolutely no way I'm gonna be able to do TUT every day while fasted. No chance. I felt weak as fuck after 3 chest exercises and had to really force myself to do 2 more then I only managed 2 tri exercises before heading home to get some nutrients down my neck, will do bi's on back day instead. It's 2:30pm here and I'm seriously ready to sleep, wtf.
 
Shiiiit fasted? I could never do that I have 2 meals before I hit the gym. Carbs fats protein and sodium....yes sodium lol it gives u an even bigger pump. The body uses sodium to transport carbs and other nutrients to the muscle. Its the only time of day I have it. I usually have a gram of sodium in my pre workout meal. Works great. Not to mention all the energy u get from the fats and carbs.
 
Well its not totally fasted, i have my whey shake in the morning then about 4 cups of coffee with milk by the time I workout. Half an hour before i have my creatine then 10 gummy bears on way to gym.

Yesterday i had a bowl of muesli at 8am and went to gym at 11:30, i almost threw up a couple of times, as in it came up and i had to swallow to stop it. Found myself very sluggish and tired, i just wanted to lie down. So fuck that, i'll save my muesli for post workout when my body needs it most.

Started my var today 25mg twice a day. Took first one a couple hours before gym and had that placebo effect again.

I ate a shitload today, mainly protein, been hungry pretty much every hour but fuck it, if im hungry its for a reason. Starting to notice some pretty good gains now, looking forward to the next 5 weeks.
 
Sometimes something comes along and gives you a boot in the balls and gives you some perspective.

We're so obsessed about how we look that sometimes we forget what really matters in life.

Last Friday i lost a true friend too soon to a tragic accident, he was the same age as me. Today was my first workout since then and it sucked.

5 sets of incline bench and 4 sets of decline and i was done, i literally had no strength which is fucked up considering the gear im on. Came home and knocked out 6 sets of pushups by force, 4 sets of situps and 3 sets on the ab roller.

This week and next is gonna be tough but i need to grit my teeth and push through it. Needless to say my calorie intake has taken a nosedive over the weekend but you know what, some things are more important, i will get back on track soon.
