a real pandemic, overpopulation

How would you react if a true pandemic, im talking massive deaths, actually happened? Something like ebola spread, or similar to the plague?

How severe would it be?

I personally am not too worried about climate change and think it is alot of hype and inevitable (meaning we can't or wont fix it), but I do feel the world is way overpopulated and that is what will eventually pollute our planet and reduce quality of life, we see it some already in china.

Would it serve as a way to cull the population? Would the strong who survive be better off and prosper like they did after the bubonic plague? If something like this doesn't happen, are you in favor of any measures of population control ?

Interesting topic I was just thinking about with whats going on today. I personally have no kids and would never bring kids into this world with how it is today so I don't have a dog in the fight. But if you did, would you want them to be around in 200 years in an even dirtier and more populated world or would you prefer some measures taken, or event, to improve quality of life?

Just in general how do you think the future will look?

it will look fine. Don’t let a political agenda scare you from living your life. Prosper and procreate - don’t live your life in fear over some bullshit from a turd who told us we only have 20 years left (20+ years ago) before we’re all under water; this same turd thinks he also invented the internet..

Climate change happens regardless of what we do or don’t do. Source: other planets with 0 life. And no, we should never be in the business of eugenics/population control as a free country.

Well the main reason for not having kids, because I flat out don't want them. But on top of that, I wouldn't want to bring them into this world or country with the way people are now and loss of freedom.

I am not big into climate change at all as a conservative but if I am to be unbiased, I would say the only way to improve it, if it matters, would be to somehow reduce the population.

Makes for interesting discussion lol

If you look at what the young people are learning in schools, I doubt we'll have an overpopulation problem anytime too soon, at least in the USA.

Young folks seem like they aren't into procreation or getting married and having a family.

The gay agenda is pushed hard in schools these days. I personally wouldn't put it past our government to push this anti family, gay agenda as a population control effort.

This is true they are pushing the homosexual and tranny agenda hard. It's almost like being normal is inferior now a days, I hadn't even thought about that. Some cultures like the Middle East still believe in family but they will probably be forced to accept it at some point.

Internet and social media is absolutely destroying society everyplace. Parents are fucking up, plain and simple. They bring kids into the world and don't even get to know them because they're too busy working to pay a car note on something they don't even need.

Nobody knows how to live simple anymore, and rarely is there work behind gratification anymore. Same reason 90% of ppl in the gym would rather sit on a machine and take selfies over actually busting their asses!!

Fuck bringing kids into "the current world", bring them into your world and create something special. They'll learn the difference if parents are around them enough. I think it's almost more fulfilling these days to have less money and more time
