A story abt neighborly revenge of epic proportions

So far we started tearing out the old carpet and seats, need to order a new fuel pump and fuel pump housing (the housing is actually 450$, at least what I’ve found so far), the engine is still good but it’s high mileage for a rotary with 188k on it.

Fixed the passenger side door which wouldn’t open, as you can see we need to find a new dash, hahaha. Going to redo the interior all black carpet and body kit and paint will eventually go on later on down the road. He can start saving his money for what he wants to do with it, he has 3 years till he turns 16 so by then it’ll be pretty badass I’m sure. All he talked abt was 2nd gen rx7’s, hard as hell to find one that’s not already redone and expensive, or just a shell. Went with the happy medium here, needs a lot of work but can at least be driveable with a little work.
Great project. I'm sure the end result will be great. It would be interesting to see how progress is being made.

I don’t like loud stuff either. Especially in a subdivision. But once A month is nbd.

reading this just enforced how happy/relieved I am to have a decent size chunk of property to live on out in the country. I’m totally content never stepping foot in a subdivision again. And I was raised in the suburbs. But farm/rural living is the life for me. I can’t even see my neighbors. In any direction. Although I do have a couple through the woods and only about 1,200 yards away. Can’t see or hear them unless he’s cutting his fields with his tractor.
This is what I want. Ha. And anyone who likes that, is my kind of person.

didn't read entire thread but glad I don't live in a neighborhood where kids are riding loud ass dirt bikes, ill pass

Nah dude, we pull them out about once every month or so and make a couple passes when we adjust something or are abt to load up to go travel and want to make sure things are in operating order, nothing like what you think

thats not so bad. my dad used to be into motorcycles etc I never have been. where I live ive never spoken a word to my neighbors no reason to. just like the gym, you say hello to a person every time they see you they want a conversation, no time for that!

Which is exactly why I’m planning on buying some land and building down the road. Fuck a neighborhood

you should build one of those log cabins, those when done right are badass
The hard part nowadays is the cost of everything is insane. Even some of the kits for log homes or metal structures aren’t any cheaper once the home is completed. I’d love a log home myself though. I even looked into those barndominiums which are cool as hell, but I’m not exactly sure they’re any more affordable than a normal house. I just refuse to pay what ppl are asking for these cheap vinyl sided homes I could stick my hand through the walls and reach inside the house!

Gotta ride em up and down the street to warm the oil before changing it. So far all my neighbors are fine.

My buddy ls swapped that body style rx7, it was sooo clean.

Keep us updated with the progress

So far the inside is pretty much gutted and we need a new fuel pump and gas tank cleaning kit. I’m waiting on him to save his money and work for it, he’s got the car and now it’s time to put in the work to build it. Can’t be handing him everything or he won’t learn from it

A good strategy is to get a fifth wheeler RV and park it on land you own and use it as a house or until you can build your house. These things are absolutely luxurious nowadays. If you have kids or a bigger family, it won't be big enough though.

I hate all sounds and really prefer the quiet of nature, but I love dirt bikes, so I guess I have a tolerance for them. But I also don't live next to anyone with a dirt bike now. Maybe I'd think differently if I did.

Oh yea, they’re very nice! It’s one of the few campers I’ve walked into and felt like there was enough room that I wouldn’t go crazy! Some of the smaller ones I’d probably lose my shit in
