AAS and Sleep Disturbance

Tren affected my sleep the worst. After injecting a small dose of 20mg Tren Ace, I couldn’t sleep at all that night and it didn’t improve for a couple of nights. I slept for a maximum of 1-2 hours. For that reason, I won’t touch Tren again.

Yikes. I've been thinking about experimenting with a microdose of around 20ms of Tren E per week. Given my generally poor relationship with sleep and sensitivity to these compounds, sounds like I will probably be in for some rough nights. Hopefully the slightly longer ester will help a bit.

You won't feel anything on 20/week. It will be pointless.

Thank you for your input. I'm not expecting much, but we will see. I have some health issues that limit the types of compounds I can use and the dosages. I figure at such a small dose, it's at least worth a try with minimal downsides.

If you want an anecdotal experience, I started at 20 as well. Held there for 4 weeks, nothing. Maybe I was getting the nutrient partitioning effects? not sure how I would gauge that but I wasn't getting fatter in a surplus. Anyway, bumped it 40 for a couple weeks. Still nothing. Doubled it to 80 and that's when things started to get interesting. Harder and denser look and still able to be in a deficit while adding weight to the bar. I'm at 100 now for about a month. Only sides are BP (easily managed with telm and ciln) and night sweats which actually aren't that bad. I typically only get them towards the end of my sleep and I sleep on a towel so I barely notice it.

I've decided I like tren. Getting bloods on Monday, we'll see if it was worth it.

Awesome. That is extremely helpful information. Thank you.

Yes, I am primarily hoping that I may get some mild nutrient partioning effects at the low dose of tren plus my TRT dose of 100mg/wk. Because of my health issues (mainly some mild arterial calcification), going into big caloric surpluses and/or doing big doses of anything is pretty much off the table for me now, so my primary goal is to keep what I've already built, maybe make some gains here and there, and lean out as much as I reasonably can slow and steady with my health as priority #1. Experimenting with low doses and having fitness goals in front of me keeps me motivated, engaged, and in the gym, which I figure offsets whatever negative effects the drugs may have. I may bump the dose up slightly, but knowing how toxic tren can be, I think it's probably best for me to be very careful with it.

Anyway, so as not to hijack this thread entirely, I'll be sure to report in here if it has any effect on my sleep once I get started.
