And bags all run through a scan
I go through this weekly

I wonder how I got so much through in checked bags

The new generation of scanners is leaps and bounds better than the previous and they are being installed in all the larger airports. The thing is, does TSA really give a shit about a vial that is under the limits liquids allowed on your person or personal carry on?

That's what I posted about - just cleaned out my carry-on computer bag. I had 6 hotel lotion bottles in it - has been like that for the past 6 months, I never get inspected.

They never fail to snag the water bottles from the car rental that I forget to drink...

I travel often with 30 to 40 race gels in carry on and never had an issue. Only once was I flagged and checked and that was due to the scanner thinking a pair or studded race sneakers where a potential bomb. lol
