Not solvents IMO. I a put it in vacuum desiccator at 12mbar for a week no change. Shit is not soluble up to 150c. Will probably never figure out what it truly is as gets filtered out before any testing is done since not soluble.

Eff Savi! Definitely a real sales rep. Definitely never again for me. Actually all of a aasraws never again. Quick to take your money, slow to impossible to get a refund for product they promised would be shipped months ago now. Also there's more than a 50% chance that whatever it is that you order will be shitty.
My test d tested at 89%. My npp did too and is also bonus puke brown. My mast was promised to ship months ago. My test c is going to be okay but there was just as high of a chance I got a non-dissolving batch like some of the others here

Let's say..we have 2 scenarios.

1.
Raws 95% purity, the remaining 5% dissolves, all soluble, filters fine.
I think this is the usual case scenario we have.

2.
Raws 95% purity, 5% doesn't dissolve, filters clog.
5% of a kilo is 50g.

a 33mm .22um syringe filter can only store about 10-20mg of junk.
a 100mm membrane filter? 150-200mg?

You can see that neither is going to filter it.
But isn't this a better scenario?

In a perfect scenario, all 5% gets filtered and you get a fully pure...

Sorry to bounce back to this but I’ve been talking with @Photon and he sent me some information on plastic bottle top filters not being compatible with Mig812. Have you noticed any breakdown with the filters? Swelling? Melting?
I would love to use them purely out of convenience but I’m worried they’ll degrade while in use.

Its correct, you won't find a bottle top filter where the funnel. Is made of PP or you will find it but is not sterile.

So if you wanna reduce the risk need to pour small quantity of oil in the funnel and wait for it to be filtered and then pour a little bit again etc. Don't let it sit there for a long time while it filters
