Ab training

What is a good ab routine to do throughout the week? I have heard many different stories on what to do as far as varied forms of crunches or wieghted work outs for abs. Just wondering what you guys think is the best way to train your abs

Its all about your diet,
But I do:

Progressive weight Cable crunches superset 4-6 12
with Leg raises or Seated knee-ups 4-6 12

Twice a week.

it all depends on where you are...I already have a solid core from years of martial arts training, so I get by with 3-4 sets of crunch movements (either on a swiss ball or a delcine bench). I also think the heavy compound movements I do (squats and deads) tend to activate the hell out of my entire core as well. other than that its all BF % like Role said.
I see guys doing waaaay more ab work than they really need to all the time...I just never understood working your core out with set after set from all kinds of different angles when just doing a few basic compound movements will give you a huge amount of muscle activation in your entire core, and keeping your BF in check will keep it all visible. Hell, I've got a visible 6 pack at 11-12% and I put MAYBE 15 min per week in ab isolation movements.

I do 3[different} x varied form of crunches dayly.
1 set = 180 hundred reps
I try do do 2 sets{if I can be bothered}

Similar as RM said, diet has above 50% influence on 'em

I try to do the circuit using 50 reps for each exercise and try to do the sets of decline sit-ups with at least a 30lb plate.But diet is also very important for building apps. If you feel like working out at home then I may suggest you one more option. Check out this - "Ab Workout Express". This makes me feel like I am working out with my trainer in the comfort at my own pace!!! Really an amazing app. You should certainly try out this one.
