mg scales aren’t hard to come by, it’s the mcg scales that are a bitch. As long as you’re cool with nearest gram, $40-50 max should get you there for something with decent specs? Maybe I’m missing something.

Essentially i want to weigh out 50 mg within 5 mg of inaccuracy in either direction not being a concern. Is the typical low level coke dealer scale sufficient?

i was also hoping that you'd read between the lines on the g4p mention, but it appears that ship has sailed.

I bought a mg scale from a respected chemical labs shop in my city... I spent something like 60$... And i can assure you it s fuckin inaccurate... but i m speaking about singular mgs.. because i wanted weight something like 1 or 2 mgs to divide them later into mcgs...

If you need to weight 50mgs or so you can get away with a pretty decent one , and if you have issues weighting 50mgs I would suggest you to weight 100mgs and then split the raw powder after you leveled/flattened the raw powder...

Check Ebay for Ohaus scales. Make them a low offer until you get one accepted. I got a $300 scale for like $120

Check out some smoke shops. I bought one that is a old school dope scale where you can way anything up to a gram or up to 8 grams at one time with the little weights

Check out some reloading scales, mechanical, or digital. RCBS and LYMAN have some good ones. You will have to do a grain to gram conversion, but easily repeatable. 15 grains are equal to 1 gram, and these scales are accurate to within 1/10 of a grain. About 150 bucks.

I got a cheap one on amazon. Seems to work fine 20$. I use it for aromasin. So it has to hit 25 mg.

Hit the tare button to bring it back to zero.
Use a small spoon (c'mon, man, you know, the thing) to measure your vitamin powder.
Dump in mouth...no need to cap anything unless you need it to go.

This is what i use now. Amazon has it too.

I had both us these they both work fine. If you look up online there is a way to reset the calibration if you have the weight that comes with it.

Mine was defective. Tried numerous times and it never gave me the option for the final step to actually apply the calibration.

Your not going to find a good and reliable scale for mcg/low mg for under a few hundred bucks if you want real accuracy.. or you can buy one of the ones listed above but they’re not accurate for low low weights. Someone mentioned haggling or buying used a real precision laboratory scale and that is your best bet when it comes to accuracy and low weights.

That will maybe be accurate to within 10mg or so up or down in any direction. It’s hard to say exactly.. but they’re not known for true accuracy.
