Accutane Nosebleeds

Has anyone gotten nosebleeds from Accutane?I'm going onto my 4th month at 80 MG a day, and I wake up and have blood all over everything.I also have been getting them occasionally during the day.I was wondering if I should just cut my dosage to 40 MG every day and save the other half for something else, I'm under doctor's supervision right now.Does anyone know why it's doing this?I want to stay on it for 6 months to get the full treatment, my face is pretty clear now but I want to make sure it stays clear after I'm off of the treatment.Thanks.

Well if your under a doc's supervison for it why not call the doc? He will be able to answer your questions. Thats what you pay him for.

I've had 4 treatments of Accutane and every time I get nosebleeds when I sleep. It's nothing to be worried of at all. It happens because the Accutane shrinks your pores in your face. I'm sure your lips got chapped during the treatment. The same things happens inside your nose, but instead of chapped lips you get nosebleeds. If it bothers you try putting a small amount of vaseline in each nostril before bedtime. This will prevent you from getting nosebleeds because it will keep you nose lubricated. Later.

i was thinking the same thing. ask your doc. i would figure that if your under a doctors care for using accutane ... he would have explained all the possible sides to you also.

btw- why did you give advice on another bros thread about accutane and for him to ask you any further questions if you don't even know yourself. you could cause more problems then good mjm. here's the thread ..........

i had the same problem with my treatment. my sking dried up really bad, had chapped lips all the time, and had nosebleeds all the time too. it helped a little bit when i started downing water like there was no tomorrow, but i still had some problems. try the vaseline trick, it worked pretty well for me, but i still got some bleeding every now and then. the sides, in my opinion, are worth it because that shit works!

Very typical with accutane, that shit is harsh. itsw just one of the sides of the drug, along with liver disease, brain impairment, cerebral vascular bleeding, Stroke, heart attack, hollow organ toxic shock, diaharrea, etc...Pretty much horrible shit .

Thanks a lot for the replies. What about Equipoise, could nose bleeds have anything to do with high blood pressure, or more red blood cells? Thanks.
