Accutane permanent cure?

I ran 3 days at 20mg, 3 days at 40mg, 6 days at 80mg, 3 at 120mg, 2 at 160mg, and then I've been on 200mg for 3 months since.

I have 11 days left until I hit 220mg/kg, sides perfectly manageable for me still at 200mg a day. I use Accufine too.

Thanks for the response and confirmation. Some of the feedback in the thread had me wondering when the walls would come down around me :)

Thoughts on tritating up really quickly if sides are minimal? Example 40mg 2 days, 80mg 2 days. 120mg two days etc. until I get to 200mg or whatever dose sides do get out of hand?

This is the path I'm on right now and hoping I'm not moving too quickly.

Accufine is from PCT 24X7.

Rate of titration is entirely up to you and how you're tolerating it.

I found it took 3 days for sides to peak at a given dose though, so I never titrated faster than 5 days. But it's not "harmful" in any way.

The thread has been incredibly useful to be honest. If it wasn't for the guys in here who spoke about their high doses I would never have dared to venture so high.

I couldn't be any more pleased with how quickly it's allowed me to get it done.

I ran it up to 160mg and had to drop back down. The lethargy more than anything was too much, which I’m assuming was due to highly elevated liver values. Currently at 80mg and it’s very manageable. Going to take longer to reach cumulative dose but my face looks shiny in a good way and less fine lined so it’s a win-win

Had to back off around 180mg myself. The nice thing is on the way down the levels you passed never seem as bad as when you're going up.

Yea it’s mostly minor chapped lips, slightly dry eyes and skin. All of which can be remedied with ease. If not for the lethargy I’d keep it at the 160mg. They were worse conditions for those mentioned but again they were manageable with lotion/balm/etc.

So I had a bit of a paradoxal effect when I ran isotretinoin - I have a really dry scalp (dandruff like) especially in the winter months.....

You would probably assume that it would get much worse, with the drying effect of Isotretinoin.....
- But it all went away, while I were on the back end of my run...... But now 9 months after a run of 19200 mg - it's back again, so unfortunately no cure for my dry scalp.

How's your hairline?

Thanks.

Do you think a low dose of 20mg a day (split am/pm) for 8 weeks would be a good idea? In the study the person took 20mg a week for 8 weeks with improvements.

That's the protocol I'd use, since it showed long term remission (maybe cure) after stopping. TBH, since it's possible the required dose varies from person to person, rather than risk it not working, if sides were tolerable (and with this low dose they should be non-existent after a few weeks), I'd buy enough to run it for 3 months. In fact it's so cheap, I'd want enough 10mg capsules on hand to have the option to go 30-40 /mg a day for 3 months. I mean we're talking around $40 for 400 caps. Better to have it and not use it, than discover it's working well but having an interruption in treatment and possibly needing to start all over again if it turned out to be insufficient. and you ran out.

A few weeks after I ended the cycle, since I had some tiny "pimples" on my shoulders that didn't seem like acne.

Those demodex live by feeding on sebum, in your pores, which is significantly reduced while on isotretinoin, so I think it's probably best to let the population of them starve, then finish them off with a course of Ivermectin at the end.

Remember they spread from person to person, so it's best to get everyone in the household treated at the same time possible. The Ivermectin course is completely free of sides 99.9% of the time.I required 20mg for my weight, but just took 2x12mg and used up 2 12mg strips over 10 weeks.

So you use 24mg every week for 1o weeks not 24 mg ed

I plan t0 repeat it every year.

"So you use 24mg every week for 1o weeks not 24 mg ed"

Correct. Once a week for 10 weeks, not every day. This ensures you not only kill all demodex on your skin, it's enough time for any eggs on you or in bedding to die or hatch and be killed if they reinfect you.

Of course if you stay in a hotel, or come in close contact with others you're very likely to pick them up again, but doing this protocol once a year resets the population to zero, and after getting them again it takes a while for them to reproduce back up to original levels.

A bonus is this is also sufficient to kill off pretty much every other type of ivermectin susceptible parasite you could get from animals, farms, food, water or the general environment in warm climates.

Why does GH (for me at least) explode acne growth?

On just test I only need a micro dose of accutane to keep all acne completely off. On GH I need about 40mg+ a day to stop acne.

Decided to just double my dose with double TUDCA Friday and Saturday and revert to normal for today meaning...

I've finally hit the cumulative dose of 220mg/kg today for 100kg. And I did it in under 4 months thanks to the anecdotes and advice from this thread. Thanks again all.

Will start Ivermectin tomorrow.
