I am 20 years old and currently 190lbs. I am looking to gain more mass. I have been doing the "traditional" Mon-Wed-Fri routine, training each muscle once a week with 7-9 sets per muslce. Recently I read a few articles suggesting that training each muscle once a week was a bad idea and that the routine I am on is crap. This information has shattered my world lol and now I don't know what to do. There is so much contradicting information. Anyways I came across this routine and I wanted to get some opinions on it. Now does this look like a more effective routine? Another routine I am considering is the 5X5 but I also read that there is a variation of the 5X5 using 4X8-10 or something like that. Could somebody help me set up a routine using the 4X8-10 range?
