Alaska bust

Sounds like they really then just seized $650 worth. What a waste of time IMO!

Right? I know where to find 1000 DBOL for $400. And let's assume it's just standard UGL test E which I would say on average is about $35-$40 per vial. So roughly $400 worth of test. Poor guy has like $800 worth of gear and he gets hooked for supposedly possessing $65k worth. Fucking retarded. I hate the legal system in this country. It's a fucking shame.

Indeed what a fucking joke alright. Also LE has to be slapping each others' backs for getting another lowly gym rat gear user off the street for the public's safety

Steroids are judged like other drugs in the sense that they think people only take a few milligrams... so when they see a vial that has 2500mg in it, the courts categorize it as enough to sell to lots of people.

Wish I could find the article, but some guy basically described how steroids don't match a single description of a schedule class drug and the judges just ignored him. I'll look for jt

However, the only evidence in the 1990 hearing
record which could support a finding that steroids were "psychologically
addictive" within the meaning of the CSA, was an equivocal statement
submitted by Kenneth B. Kashkin, M.D., an assistant professor of
psychiatry at Yale.87 The statement indicated that withdrawal symptoms
similar to those of opiate and alcohol withdrawal had been observed. 88
However, to the extent that this statement suggested that steroids are
"psychologically addictive" in the manner of other controlled substances,
it is contradicted by his article, published in the Journal of the American
Medical Association four months prior to the hearing, which was also made
part of the record. That article concluded:
[O]ur review supports the conclusion that anabolic steroid abuse
can develop into a psychoactive substance-dependence disorder
with cognitive, behavioral, and physiological symptoms indica-
tive of uncontrollable use of a psychoactive substance despite
adverse consequences. The anabolic steroid-addiction hypothesis
is speculative and needs to be confirmed by scientific investiga-
tion .... [W]e also conclude that anabolic steroid abusers need
to be treated rather than tested and penalized. 8
