Am I going to die??

Ok so I don’t really think Im going to die from these results. Turned out better than I expected actually. It probably didn’t help that I had a massive cheat meal of desserts the night before and had a few drinks. These are my lab results from 300-350mg test cyp, 25mg anavar, 6iu generic gh. It’s been 8 months straight on anavar and was curious to see how much of an impact it would have on values. 35y/o 5’11” 215lbs morning weight. Been bulking for about 6 months. What do you guys think?

Looks okay. If those were my values, I’d give my liver some time to recover. If you plan to continue the cycle as is, I’d recommend avoiding alcohol and other substances, and adding liver support supplements if you haven’t already.

That’s something your treating physician should have discussed with you as well, right?

Where is your anavar/dosing from? Some it could be artificially elevated from training.

Stop training for a week and retest

This was private labs that I’ll submit to my TRT clinic. My gp isn’t too keen on the matter. However, he is aware that I’m on test now. I’m not much of a drinker, it was just coincidence I happened to drink the night before the bloodwork. FWIW, last year I had gone 10 months straight without alcohol at all.

I do plan on dropping the anavar in 2-3 weeks but the test I will keep at 350mg and the gh I’ll drop from 6iu to 4iu. Going to transition into cutting but shouldn’t be too crazy as I’ve stayed fairly lean this go around and sub 10% isn’t very far away

The anavar was pharm compounded from my TRT clinic for most of it but the last two months have been ugl from our boy Stan here.

drop the var and go on real TRT with around 180mg-200mg/week. Live healthy, do labs and give your body some time to regenerate. That would be my advice.

That BP on cycle is excellent and offsetting the arteriosclerosis risk of your crappy lipids to a good degree.

If that's your BP at 35 without meds, and your lipids are normal off cycle, those genetics bode well for avoiding CVD related mortality.

I agree with the others to give
your liver a break.

So it'll probably be a steroid induced visuaspatial cognitive impairment causing a car accident, smith machine collapse, angry spouse, etc that kills you.

I know that theoretically I SHOULD go down to TRT at times, but is there really any negative effects if my bloodwork shows normal for everything else and bp stays in check? I’ve been on 250-300mg for over a year now and 350mg for the last 5 weeks

Correct, no meds for bp. Will def be dropping the anavar to let lipids and kidney/liver values settle. My lipids off cycle are in there too on the right of the current values. HDL is usually around 40-50 and LDL about 120-130

As for cause of death, I could def see an angry woman being involved!

The point is that lab values never tell the whole story. It can be assumed that the body is under less stress and can recover better when the dose is reduced to a physiological level.

If you plan to continue with a long-term blast and cruise approach, that would be my recommendation, even if the lab values all look good.

Of course, it depends on personal goals, and an IFBB pro will approach it differently than someone who does it as a hobby.
