Ampoules?

This seems to be a untalked about topic unless I just couldn't find anything on it.
I've never used ampoules before, so can someone educate me on the correct, sterile process on pinning a compound out of an ampoule?

I usually back load a syringe when using the amps it a lot easier. Make sure to get your hands sanitized before back loading. Also to open the amp use a shell from a bullet to break off the amp top. Its really easy or a pin cap either way.

If you look at most amps, you'll notice there's small black dot.. That's your breaking point- recommend you use a paper-towel (don't want to get glass cut) and snap it.. use whatever drawing needles (care not to touch the lip or side walls).. draw and inject..you're done!

The amp should not shatter when broken correctly.

I agree that if done correctly it should not shatter in the amp. I like to use a bit of paper toweling so that it does not shatter onto my fingers. Also helps to make the top pop off easier you might try serateing the edges with a sharp knife as well

I also wrap in paper towel and snap top off. When I draw I don't put the needle all the way to the bottom. Draw everything but the slightest amount left on bottom just in case there may be anything there the eye can't see.

With amps, I break them with the alcohol swab i use to sanitize the amp. Then I always use a filter needle because I'm paranoid about microscopic glass shards.

What is the benefit of amps? Same gear but you have to worry about broken glass. All I have to do is wipe off the top of my vials and I'm good to go. What about using different compounds too? Seems like a lot more work.

Well the reason it interested me is that it was dosed at 250 mg/ml instead of 300 so it would slightly lessen pip
Saves me time and money so I don't have to go through the sterile oil process.
Also I figure why not, I'd like the experience with it

Shouldn't be getting pip from 300mg/ml of test e. 300mg of test e will easily hold in a ml with no trouble at all.

Yeah I would've thought the same thing
I know one batch of test e from pharmacom was overdosed at 350+ mg/ml (not complaining more mg for me) but that could be the reason for my pip
