Scholar Brew log

Just a general run down of what I've done so far.

Test Undeconate at 380mg/ml ( castor). Attempted 400mg but crashes too easily in a cold room. Not worth checking on it.

Tren ace 110mg/ml ( first castor and 2nd time avocado)
Test Cyp 230 mg /ml (castor)
Mast P 100mg/ml ( Avocado)

I use either avocado oil (personal use only none ups grade. Heat sterlized then filtered through syringe filters 3 times then heat treated again) stored in a 100 ml vial sterilized

Or Castor ups grade.

I'm looking forward to trying other compounds just to say I did it. Interested in topical formulations.

I'll just update as I progress.

Why avocado oil?

your using ups grade or no?

I am interested in the alternative oils, just the difference in the GSO I've used has been important.

What's the reason to sterilize the carrier oil? Because I see none

What if your filter is damaged or accidentally damaged during filtering? Unless you are doing a bubble point test, you will never know.

I am of the belief that too many people blindly trust their syringe filters, when that is one of the most critical components of the whole process. Just because "I have never had a problem" does not make it safe to use "any" syringe filter.

Sterilizing you carrier oil is not unreasonable if it make one feel more secure.

I got many so I guess I tend to double filter it just in case. I'm overkill. But I don't have a lab so I gotta be overkill for my health.

Makes no sense mate, no offense but you are gonna use that oil to dissolve a non sterile powder, so sterilizing it before that it's completely useless.
Your right. Filtered in the end anyways. But it does make filtering the final product easier too and saves time if I make a big batch of oil.

So you sterilize your carrier oil and then you add unsterile RAWS that have been probably spitted and scraped from a floor lol

More secure of what? There is no point in sterilizing something that will then be placed in contact with unsterile things.

So you brew with a beaker under a flow hood? No? Yeah I thought so..
You use a perfectly sterilised beaker? No? No surprise.

Now go explain to me the logic in washing your hands multiple time to touch a piece of shit.

It doesn't save times mate if you triple filter it etc.

Filter the oil with a .45um non sterile filter that makes sense because you remove impurities and the oil with be thinner. Do it once and that's it. Anything else is a waste of time..unless you just like doing it.. sure no problem but just know it's useless

Alright my logic isn't adding up when you lay it out like that. Understood. I did notice one batch I made using the oil not filtered and sterlized still caused zero pip so I'm just being paranoid but even then it seems to make no difference. I probably should grab those bigger filters sometime.

What ive been doing is once all brewed is pass through the .45um then finish in a sterile vial with a .22um.

Avocado oil? Interesting. I read once that it is one of the best to season a pan in, particularly high smoke point. Is it thick like castor oil? I've never heard of anyone trying this before, which is why it's interesting. Thinking outside the box. Avocados are good for you, in the edible sense. You'd think it might be good as a carrier oil. A quick search on it yields some evidence of anti inflammatory properties.
