anastrozole with TRT

I am currently on TRT and have been instructed to take anastrozole .25 with every injection which is 2 times a week. I am about to start anavar and primo and was wondering if anyone has advice on if I should just take out the anastrozole and save it for when I cycle off the anavar and primo regiments or if I should stick with taking it at every test dosing? Currently on 200mg test C per week and trying to get the doc to raise it to 300mg per week. My estrogen levels are normal and I think the doc is just having me take the anastrozole as a precaution.

To actually answer your question… are you having high e2 sides? If yes, take dose. If not, dont. If you are going to stay on trt after the primo and anavar idk why you think you need to run adex after.


Do you know your test levels on 200mg/wk? Im curious why you think you need a 300mg/wk trt dose.

no e2 sides, and my test goes between 400-500 on 200mg test per week. I would like to be around 800 and would like to run 150mg/week primo. I would like to not take the anastrozole but its what my doctor prescribed along with the TRT. From what I have read the primo will knock down the estrogen and that's why you want to run a 2:1 ratio test to primo to allow the the test to keep the estrogen levels up.

So you take a 100mg test shot twice a week, when did you get bloodwork and what was your shot day before that? Called a trough, so say if you shot Monday morning and got bloods thursday morning that would be a 3 day trough

I do 4 day trough and inject after blood has been drawn. last one was 468 and that was 2 weeks ago. I get blood work every 7 weeks.

I too would only take if experiencing high e2 sides. First sides I noticed were during my first blast. Started getting acne on my shoulders and was having a tough time sleeping. Blood test confirmed e2 was high. .25mg EOD on 500mg of test put my e2 a tad below baseline trt level.

If you are having to use Anastrozole then you are not in TRT, but in cycle.

TRT is intended to replicate your natural testosterone production (did you take any AI/suicidal been natty?) so you should not needed

Now, been in this spot, you should either guide by E2 feelings (just like everyone here advices) or simply do bloodwork and adjust until you find your sweetspot.

I stopped taking anastrazole when I started primo. You will definitely crash your e2 running them both, especially if you’re pinning more than once per week.

Never take predetermined AI dose. Symptoms confirmed by blood work should guide you. Always start low and give it time. Everyone is different. I need some anastrozole at pretty much any dose, but I know my body. You should not randomly dose AI.

I am sitting around 13%

I have been natty for years and once I was prescribed Test I figured I am not going natty any more. I have only taken the test and Anastrozole though and nothing else yet. Like you said I think I will just have to stop the Anastrozole and see where the blood test take me and not try to introduce too much at one time so I can understand causes and affect of individual compounds when paired with test.

This is super important. Most people underestimate how it affects EVERYTHING.

I start seeing water retention on anything over 150mg. That’s just me though, many can run higher. Side note, F anastrozole, could never dose it properly and made me feel like shit every time.
