Anemia or Elevated RDW after cycle of Test/Tren/Mast/HCG -> HCG -> Enclomiphene PCT?

I just got my blood work back after running my PCT, and I noticed something peculiar that I've never seen before.

Lately, I've started getting horribly tired, so tired I don't have the energy to leave the house except at certain times. So I got my blood markers, and everything looks fine except my RDW (and to a lesser extent, LH).

The RDW values are a bit elevated. My red blood cells are apparently bigger? I've never had anemia, but I guess I do now? Lipids are perfect, liver function is perfect. The doctor forgot the kidney function tests, but I'll get that done soon as well.

I also had a blood pressure of 134/82 while on 300mg test/tren/mast and a resting heart rate of 89-95. Now I'm at 112/79 with a resting heart rate of 48-52, which is a bit more elevated over my normal 40-43.

Honestly, I feel like complete fucking shit. Any advice on what to do next? I'm guessing iron and ferritin supplements? Here are my results:

That is the culprit for your miserable and tired feeling all day. Your thyroid is outta control.
I'm gonna pop some levo. Thanks.

Apparently this can cause Microcytic Anemia, which is what I seem to be experiencing. I'll see a hematologist and, in the mean time, see if Levothyroxine fixes it.

Interesting... I'm having the same problem, levo doesn't fix it for me. I'm supplementing iron now for about 2 weeks. Still searching for a fix

What was your last cycle? And who was the vendor for it e.g.: QSC, Deus Medical, etc?

Any peptides?

Another cause can be sickle cell anemia, but I don't have the genes for this (already checked).

I didn’t say that and I honestly dont see any link between high TSH and levo. Why would you like to take levo? I don't think that will help. It is likely one of your PCT drugs causing the high TSH or the fact that you had low testosterone for some time.

In fact there's studies showing TRT can help with screwed up thyroid hormones. So vice versa it only makes sense that low T causes thyroid problems.

I've been on vacation for a while and forgot to bring my levo. I do have a need for thyroid meds and have a prescription, but I wanted to see if I could properly recover from it and get back to normal.

Looks like nope.

That said, Levothyroxine significantly reduces your TSH.

I just need to figure out these MCHC/RDW things next, assuming Levo doesn't fix it.

Last cycle was test + eq from Cat Cafe, prior to that I was using test + npp from Mactropin. I'm guessing the gear and or brand doesn't have an influence on it. So far haven't managed to find the issue. Sleep apnea might be a cause and had it checked out. I do have minor sleep apnea but just a few episode per hour.

Sorry my friend, you are totally right. You mean levo but what I read was letro (aromatase inhibitor). Sorry. My mind played me a trick here.

Yea I think you should add in the levo again. Your TSH is alarmingly high. Anything over 3-4 can cause symptoms.

I have experienced this post blast (mine are small) and never found and answer in the bloodwork. Here is a simple solution to try that works for me (I know it sounds overly simple): lots of Gatorade and have a big steak dinner. I assume the problem lies in either electrolyte or a vitamin deficiency (iron?). Works for me though...

I'm supplementing iron right now and keeping an eye on electrolytes. Simply having red meat won't bring iron up. It also takes 4-8 weeks to notice improvement.

Hope @Gigantic find something more that might help

I’ve never had this on a blast, but this time I took tren and mast.

Gatorade… I’m guzzling 8 a day and eating more beef than a whole family. I think I’m fine with that lol.

We will see if it changes.

Keep us updated, so will I. I'll have my iron checked again in 2 weeks, hope it will be better.

High RDW can also be sleep apnea. Have you recently put on a lot of weight? I’d get it retested once you stabilize.

Your TSH shows hypothyroidism as others mentioned. I’d get your free T3 and free T4 checked as well but it’s very likely you need to take thyroid hormone so your inclination to take T4 is a good one.

No sleep apnea here as far as I know. I wear an oxygen monitor every night. No alarms. It doesn’t drop below 90.

Also, yeah. I gained 36lbs on my cut stack and kept it on. 269 -> 305lbs. I couldn’t stop eating like a lunatic and had some great gains. I may post a picture of my legs later… they’re insane compared to before .

My RDW has always been high (between 14-19 for years). It goes up and dow so I just figured training hard screws it up somehow. I ruled out anemia. From googling around it seems it might have something to do with hypothyroidism which I now also seem to have. Whether I had it before or induced it with high dosage GH I don't know but I got on t4 a few days ago and will test again soon so it will be interesting to see if RDW changes. Last I checked it was almost record high - 18. I am also on a high test blast right now. There's some tren involved. You were on tren too so there's another clue? I'm also a chronic MTII user. My sleep is a shit show so in my case it wouldn't surprise if it was a major contributor.

RDW seems to be a good indicator of an early death and leukemia too. God I hate google lol.

Let us know! My crit is way down and I can't figure out why, also on high GH (extra high!) with maybe a hypothyroid? My T4 is kind of low but my conversion to T3 was over the amount that they test for.
