Just a quick update.


Cycle Adjustment:
With the Jano tests in, I went ahead and brewed up the NPP at 150mg/ml, MCT 2/20 BA/BB. I will add that in starting tomorrow. Main purpose is to help alleviate some of the joint pains.

I did go ahead and start taking some aromasin. I started at 6.25mg, and the 3.5days later bumped to 12.5mg. There was a little bit of tenderness to the nips that I didn't like, and since I'm cutting I don't really want the extra water from higher e2. I also felt my libido was not quite as good as the first 2 weeks.

I noticed an increased libido over the past week. So, I'll run this for a month and look at drawing labs again.

Notes On the Cut / Weight: - Help Wanted?????
Weight - still hovering around 216lbs. Actually even went up to 217.

I am not sure if I need to give up on this being a cut. With this being a first cycle on test, I honestly feel I'm recomping.

But - when I started this cut - I was at 208 pounds, I shot up over the past 4 weeks to 216. I know the MK677 gives me about 5lbs of water from using it in the past, and I assume the other 3 pounds is water from going on test.

I guess I just expected that I should start to lose some weight....

With this being a first cycle I may be wrong..

So - I'm not going to worry about weight - unless some see's something I"m missing here. I think I'm going to count my blessings and call this the best of both worlds, losing fat and gaining some muscle.


BMR/TDEE
I wear my Apple Watch 24/7 which has my BMR at 2400. On the days I weight lift and do cardio it puts my TDEE ~3700, and on my rest days it has me at ~2700 TDEE.

In the past before using test, I found that the TDEE was pretty accurate when I started the cut, and slowly over time it was over estimating by ~300 calories.

I track everything I eat and drink. I've been averaging 2400calories which is where I've been for 4 weeks.

Cardio:
4 weeks ago I had too many knee pains to do cardio, and the BPC / TB-500 has helped those pains and over the past 4 weeks I have slowly been adding more cardio.

I started rowing 20 minutes every other day, then bumped it to 20 minutes at the end of every work out. This past week I've started adding running in instead of rowing for half of the days.

Measurements / Mirror:
For the past 4 weeks my measurements have all stayed pretty much the same, but last week my waist finally dropped, by an inch.

I feel some of that was water bloat from the higher E2.

I am honestly really perplexed - The mirror is showing much better results. I see muscles that weren't there - and I assume a lot of that is water.. my abs are coming out like they haven't in years...


Macros:
Daily protein intake is no less than 215g, focus is on getting that from real food and not protein shakes.

Carbs average around 200g

Fat average is around 75g

My sodium is a little high / 3kmg - so I'm going to target that.

I drink a gallon of water a day.

Strength Training:
All my lifts are progressing, most workouts have 5-9 sets for a body part and 4-5 are taken to failure.

I am coming from a double cervical extrusion / protrusion from about 8 weeks ago - so I'm still fighting some of that.

Had an EMG done on Friday, my left Tricep is recovering from the nerve damage, and my left lifts took a hit 2 months ago compared to my right. But even those are progressing.

I am doing a 3 day split: Same lifts on each Day 1, Each Day 2, etc... but Day 1 is different than Day 5, and Days 2 is different than Day 6, etc.

Day 1-3 sets of 5-7

Day 1: Front Delts, Lateral Delts, Upper Chest, Lower Chest, Triceps, Lower abs.
Day 2: Lower lats, Upper Back, Rear Delts, Traps, Biceps, Forearms.
Day 3: Quads, hamstrings, Calves
Rest

Days 5-7 sets of 10-12
Day 5: Shoulders, Chest, triceps, Obliques
Day 6: Middle Back, Lats, Traps, Biceps
Day 7: Quads, Hams, Calves.


Any thoughts? Just stay the course and keep slowly adding little bit more cardio and hope for the recomp?
 
Will post up some pics but I’ve come to the end of this first cycle. I ran with test at 200mg ew pinning daily and added the 150mg npp. I added 12.5 aromasin every 3.5 days and it got rid of spicy nips and increased libido.

At the end of the cut I dropped from 215lbs to 204lbs.

Overall pretty happy. I lost 2.75” on my waist.

I ran for 10 weeks. Would have gone longer but have to do bloods for my endo. I will drop down to 200mg eow.

I intend to keep cutting lightly. I still have a little more body fat to drop. I have a neck surgery coming up and after that if I’m lean enough will go on a cycle geared towards a clean bulk.
 
After running the npp for about a week a saw significant improvement in joint pain. I feel it helped me get back into some lifts I had to back off of and rest.

From start of my first cycle... which I get it - 200mg ew - for a cut is overkill. but I've been no test low test and wanted to feel good again... Short cycle.. only ten weeks. this could obviously be done with out test.. for most people. I needed test to be able to do this though.
 
And here's the before after from December when I started cutting. I started at 235, post getting fat after a surgery.. 7 months later, 30 pounds lighter...

Got another surgery - I have nerve damage effecting the left chest / tricep / forearm. Wanted to get lean before hand.. and stay focused during the recovery this time.. and not go fat boy again.

This comparison includes one sarms cycle, and the trt+ cycle in this thread. Neither of the cycles was as important as dialing in the food and the workouts.

And final add... Forgot to mention the last 3 weeks I cut sodium down to 1000mg a day. I got put on telmisartan - 40mg ed, with a diuretic for bp as well. Also started low dose statins.


I have a few months before my surgery..

Would love any thoughts on how to solidify the cut - and keep cutting a little bit. Then thoughts on a slow lean gain in the late fall.

Right now - I'm dropping to 200mg Test-c every other week.. my trt prescription.

I will keep the cals the same and workouts the same.. I"m still averaging around 2400 cals a day. Want to keep them above 2000k. I workout 3 on one off, and add 20-30 minutes of cardio typically at the end.

When I get out of recovery and am ready.. I'm thinking of running 300mg test-c a week, I really liked the npp at 150 for joints, I wouldn't be afraid of upping it a little bit. Maybe 200-250. I will run bloods, but will likely have to run the aromasin at 12.5mg e3.5 days.

But would be curious about any thoughts on a first bulking cycle following this one?

You reached your goals, you leaned out nicely. Well done.

Now, as you experienced and found out yourself that steroids are not doing all the work for you and are not magical, they sure do help to advance and reach higher level though.

Same basics apply like diet, training and overall fitness friendly lifestyle and that leads to results over time.

Fucking great progress man. Night and day. Average Joe's just don't realize how much work it is to make a transformation like this. They think steroids are magic. Obviously they help...WITH hard work. Great job.

I have to emphasize your statement. 7 months. Biggest steroid was food. Second steroid was figuring out my tdee. Third steroid of impact was strength training / cardio.

Fourth biggest steroid and maybe the biggest was consistency - 500mg ew pinned 3 days on one day off.

An 8 week sarms cycle really just helped me stay motivated to not waste my money.

I do feel the 10 week test cycle helped - but I’m coming from no test. And in all honestly - if you look just at weight loss.. my weight loss was consistent before sarms - on sarms - after sarms - on test…

Not done with the cut… so I’ll dial in on trt and see if I can’t get rid of the little bit of love handles all still got.

I can’t go blast till I get rid of them.

I didn’t do any more jano tests… I just have the test - c from Buck that hasn’t been tested.

But I have bloods that prove 200mg ew -> 0 test to 1450. So, good enough for me especially with three other jano tests.
