anise recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for making liquor with anise (tastes a little like zambouca (sp))? I know it requires a ton of sugar, anise, and grain alcohal but that is about all I know. I guy I know makes it and told me of those ingrediants but can't remember the rest or how to make it. Hopefully some bros know how or can point me in the right direction.
