Hi everyone, long time reader thought It was about time I got involved!
I'm UK based, very much involved in the scene and I love it. Have loved it for 15 years but unfortunately I've faced numerous setbacks that have hindered progress quite significantly.
I was diagnosed with Melanoma (skin cancer) aged 29, and have had 3 serious operations, one being a brain tumor removal (size of a small orange). So progress has been very much a case of inconsistency.
Anyway, I've been one of the EXTREMELY lucky few who actually responded very well to treatment, and am now 5 years clear. Obviously cancer can always come back, but the longer you go without recurrence, statistically the less likely it is to come back.
So I'm currently sat here with a broken wrist from a simple fall, another 2.5 weeks until I get the cast off and then hopefully I can get straight back to it.
At least this last few (frustrating) weeks gives me some time to plan my comeback, diet plan, training plan, PEDs, Supps etc.
So yeah, hi everyone,
