Any members eat these meats?

I went with some bison, moose, and elk . I pussyed out on the ostrich, then the guy was trying to sell me some rattle snake , no thxs. It may taste alright but I'm not a very adventurous eater. Hell I only tried sushi 3yrs ago

Haha, barely tried sushi? What did you get, the typical Philadelphia or California role? Next time get some Sashimi and compliment it with some Asahi beer.

Yup California roll man! lol Some tuna which imo looks like tongue on a platter but I know full of protein. I don't chew it just wash it back with water, straight pussyshit ! Lol

LMAO! You wash it down with some water? Dude that is hilarious, kind of defeats the purpose but I understand. I have a relative that can't stand sushi, he is a red meat type of person.

Don't care to much for a regular tuna role but if it's a SPICY tuna role it is on! So calamari, sashimi, oysters, etc...are out of the question? Haha

Calamari tried once never again bro. It was like eating rubber sea legs..puke! Oysters I will eat occasionally only with lots of hot sauce and I don't chew em. Sashimi never tried....I'm a boring eater what can I say...

A friend of mine recommended octopus as one of the best meats, I know mediterraneans eat lots of horse too.

Hey CdnGuy, sounds you are giving the exotic foods a chance bro, it is all good, you are expanding your horizons. ;-)

I really like octopus, definitely good if you can get past the texture.

Also some of the Chinese community that eat dog!
Can't do men's best friend! Love my dogs too much.

Considering trying these meats sold as a High protein athlete's package. 4lbs of each all grounds. Buffalo,Elk,kangaroo, ostrich Venison,Moose. Anyone tried? Benefits, taste? Thxs
I eat all of those. I actually hunt my own elk and wild hog. Supposedly, wild game is higher in creatine and glutamine than farm raised animals. Never actually did any research on that, but I've heard it over a thousand times. I also know that I feel better when I eat game meat, but that could just be purely psychological

Makes a nice pot roast though. Lots of juicy fats and connective tissue to slowly cook down.
Agreed! In my personal experience, bear should almost always be served in stew, or chili form. Ive loved every bear stew and chili I've had, but never really liked steaks, or burgers.

Look at you! Palette!? Were you holding a glass of merlot or cabernet when you decided to post that? :)

Merlot is for peasants. Malbec is for the nobility, give it a try.

Trapiche is inexpensive and better than a lot of $200/bottle wine I have had before.

I appreciate your input grey. Will look into this particular one. Thanks
