Curious who's in the motorcycle life here. My bik3 shit the bed last summer but I'm currently looking into financing a 2021 mt07 because I have the itch to ride

I love the bagger looks but I prefer a bit of a more spirited ride, when the situation fits. The mt07 is a naked bike, it's like a sports bike except way more upright position instead of being bent over on your wrists, nice and torque 680cc or so parallel twin I believe it is
I like to ride dirt bikes especially in the mountains.
I hate riding bikes in the street. Drivers are crazy and stupid, everyone is on their phone or watching a moving on their dash screen, or navigating through 26 touchscreen menus to try to change the radio station or turn in their headlights in a tesla lmao (I fucking hate the way teslas are laid out inside). Other motorcyclists drive like assholes and will fucking zoom around you without warning. I have had entire convoys just speed past me on mountains roads.
So off road only for me. Sand dunes, mountain trails, I used to do some big jumps but now I avoid potential injury. I sold the dirt bike and now just have a quad to get around my property.
I always liked the aesthetically fancy bikes with lots of black and some splash of color. Like this one, for example:

I used to be an avid motorcycle fanatic. I had a honda cbr 600 rr. But after the accident, I don’t want a sportbike anymore and generally overestimated my view on motorcycles. If I go back on two knees, too, it will be something like a Harley Davidson V-Rod

I’ve had few tricked out 600’s and a 954rr. I had my fill of speed. I used to run with some buddies who ran big bore kits in their ducks. Another with a zx11 that it was damn scary how fast it hit the big end. We used to swap bikes pretty regularly just to ride something different. Now it’s big air cooled v twins. They aren’t stock either. So they got enough ump to get out of the way in a a hurry as I call it. But by no means the speed or quickness of what’s oily there. Fast enough for me as I call it and simply turning heads.

I think 2 wheels for the soul and it's a disease. 4 wheels are safer. but less emotional. I can be mistaken.

I have a 2005 Harley Fatboy. Love the bike but feel like Im taking a gamble every time I leave my house on it. Since i'm on blood thinners my wife thinks I'll bleed out if I wreck. I do sneak a few rides a week if the weather s good.!

My relatives also have such thoughts, for a very long time they persuaded me to get off the motorcycle. But I am still trying to negotiate with them and often hide the fact that I ride a bike.

It is a pity that Harley Davidson discontinued the v-rod model, but they did not offer a worthy replacement.
