Thread was supposed to say anybody ever use pre sterile stoppers
I noticed these and was thinking about using them but once a crack the bag and remove my desired quantity how could I re seal it for future use
20mm Round Bottom Stoppers, gamma-Irradiated at a minimum 25 kGy (Cobalt-60).
Independent 3rd party testing for CFU and Endotoxins.
Packaged in a double-polyethylene bag with gamma-irradiation indicator on each bag.
Each bag is lot labeled for traceability to both your CFU/Endotoxin testing paperwork and invoice.

If you're only brewing smaller amounts just sterilize the stoppers yourself. Buy 20mm clear silicone stoppers(they can handle lots of heat)and wash thoroughly in soap water then rinse in distilled water then soak in 70% iso alcohol for 1 hour then rinse off again in distilled water. Now place on disinfected(NEW)pan, cover with disinfected foil and bake at 350f for one hour.
When hour is complete remove from oven and IMMEDIATELY place on vials with disinfected gloves on using disinfected tongs and never touching the underside of the stoppers.
