Anyone ever had a surgery to remove bone spurs/ elbow issues?

I've had a bone spur on my elbow tip for awhile now, the pain is not improving, whenever I'm under a heavier load it's like a knife tip stabbing the tendon/nerve area. I had a couple ortho docs say "arthritis and tendonitis" but my gut is telling me that the spur is causing the pain and possible future damage/scar tissue.

I can straighten my arm out all the way but pain when arm is completely straight and tricep flexed, this has caused a lack of tricep focus in training and a weaker tricep.

I tried a PRP injection in area (to no help), HGH, TB-500, deca, physical therapy, you name it and I've tried it to no positive benefit. I'm pretty sure at this point that if a good surgeon could just remove the bone spur without damaging the tendon then I would be better off.

I watched a video about that powerlifter, last name Goggins, who has an operation done and ended up with a butchered elbow. (I'm pretty sure the extent of his problem was much worse than mine, but I don't need to head down that road).

I'm just trying to find any other bodybuilders or powerlifters who have had surgery to clean up a joint /remove a spur that had a positive outcome. Because now I'm thinking that surgery is only going to fuck me over, yet cannot find any other route to go around this to continue to train with any significant workload or do tricep pressdowns or extensions or dips.

I’ve had elbow surgery before but it was from a mutated e.coli infection. Contaminated food.

My elbow swell up like a golf ball and there was yellowish fluid inside.

The doctor said that the bacteria was eating away at my elbow and needed immediate surgery.

Anyway after surgery I wasn’t able to straighten out my arm nor touch my shoulders which I can do with my other arm.

But I kept working out and eventually I got full motion again.

However now when I lift heavy off gear and HGH my elbow makes a popping cracking sound. Eventually that cracking sound started to lead up to a sharp pain. Like tendinitis. I found out that once you get this pain you should stop working out anything arm related and stick to legs. After 2-3 weeks rest my elbow pain went away.

So now I just lift light high rep weights to strengthen my elbow back.

But yea elbow surgery majority of the time will never be 100% again.

Even my surgeon told me. She made that clear before she started.

Any surgery on elbow or knees is a majorly one. Don’t expect full motion again and of course depends how good the surgeon is.

I had surgery for a ruptured tricep tendon in 2008...for 20 years I suffered from tendonitis/tendonosis...MRIs, rest, prolotherapy, physical therapy...nothing helped...finally I was in a car accident and had xrays and it showed a chipped bone...2 weeks after surgery I was doing some light training and 6 months later I was back training hard...my tricep was 90% detached ...the surgeon said he saw hundreds of micro tears that had healed improperly due to over training for years.......moral of this story is take some down time and tone down the intensity...
