Anyone into woodworking?

Do you have one that has a 27 inch table height? Or could you find a mahogony or cherry tree and just split the log lengthwise. Well use the flat part for the table top. Bark isnt a big deal since it'll be underneath.

that should be easy. only hurdle left is getting it onto the 3rd floor. my tables are quite sturdy and built to last. To make it appear cherry will be easy. I have some cans of white paint used to mark football fields. I will just add some red food coloring and that is that. As for the back rests i might recommend particle board since it will be indoors. nice checkered pattern also

no problem u can have the ones out of my 83 gremlin. they r lime green. really clashes well with cherries and checkers. for back padding hit up hogg for some duck feathers. nothing softer than down

sorry THL, so whats a good compressor? i'm going to need my own for my kitchen - tired of borrowing..

Depends on what you want to do with it louie. If you just want to run an
air nailer, any of the smaller ones will do the trick. Home Depot is running
a good deal right now on a Porter Cable air compressor/brad nailer/and
finish nailer all for $299. Rumor has it that they are going to do the 20% off
power tool sale again within the next couple of weeks, so that would drop
another $60 off the price. If you just want the compressor, I think it's
less than $200.

What about a 20HP 120 gallon Snap-On compressor? I heard those kick some major ass.

They're nice Bob, but a little overkill for a kitchen remodeling project. lol

Hey louie, check out this link: http://www.toolking.com/portercable/view.asp?id=5496

It's a nice lilttle portable compressor as long as you don't plan on running
a whole shop with it.
