anyone read this book

Thick, what are you thinking Bro? You know very few people on this board can read, except for a Mod or two! Quit kiddin yourself.:D

It's a good book showing how to properly do the lifts and with a basic intriduction to strength training for begginers. The first edition taught the squat, deadlift, bench, and power clean. The secong edition is coming with more barbell exercises and more info. Practical Programming is very good too.

At least you're thinking of reading! I'd recommend reading everything you can get your hands on, trying everything out until you come to find what type of training suits you best. I generally read a book every month or so. Did you know that if you read a book related to your profession for 30 minutes a day, after a year you will be in the top 10% (knowledge wise) of people in that profession! Nobody reads about their own job.... they just do it!

Thick,

It's a good, solid book about how to get bigger and stronger - Ripp is a great coach and has put a lot of functional musle on a lot of people over the years. Well worth purchasing.

Cheers,

G
