Anyone see Generation Iron?

still waiting to see it as well.....hopefully kai dosnt freak everyone out and make pro bbs look like weirdos.

I've been checking pirate bay once a week or so, haven't seen a copy yet.. I guess there's not even a release date for the DVD yet?

My impression is the dvd is gonna take quite some time...accidentally found this

"The producers of the DVD Generation Iron have advised that they will be sending me the Director's Cut version of this movie towards the middle of March for a planned street date release on DVD in early April, 2014."

from gmv.com.au

no torrent until then

So hopefully it will have a lot of extra footage. I'm looking forward to seeing this also. Heard good things about it and it's entertaining enough to watch if you're a fan of the sport.

yes it will be entertaining Mexican wrestling mask and all.

heard it made a lot of guys look bad through AAS usage..almost like downplaying the BB world...but like i said "i heard" this

I could care less, what's the point? What will you possibly learn from this video? It's not like they are going to come right out and tell you they got to where they are by abusing the shit out of hgh and steroids. Yes there is so much more than the drugs but let's face it, without boatloads of steroids you are not going pro these days. I take seminars, articles and videos of these guys with a grain of salt now

And Kai green and his philosophical bullshit is starting to get a little old to me. Fuck all these weirdos, I wanna see the guy with the family and kids who is busting ass to get jacked and ripped, not some dude who lives with his butt buddy trainer

Ramy is probably a good example of who you are in search of. BB is a very selfish sport. It always needs to be you before anyone else or anything else in order to make it to the top of the hill. Which is one of the many reasons majority of folks don't make it, or are limiting themselves to achieve they're full potential. But you have to understand there are many more factors aside to the drug use which is what kai is referring to through his philosophical argument. Bodybuilding is nearly all mental. Drug use has only expanded the sport and allowed it to become more interesting with its product innovations.

If bodybuilding was nearly all mental, physiques wouldn't be 50 lbs heavier than 30 yrs ago. It's drugs drugs and more drugs. The mind does play a huge part, but don't lead everyone on telling them it's hard work and to follow your dreams when you yourself know there is no chance in hell of getting to the Olympia stage on a moderately dose steroid regimen

You're absolutely right on the drug use and the changes it has brought to the sport in the last half century. But going back to kai on the mental talk, strength and will power is what separates them as the elite which is the small ass percentage success stories. And hence why we always see the same people at the olympia every year(besides political influence). Like the saying, everyone wants to be a bodybuilder, but no one wants to lift heavy ass weight, inject handful of gear. in general make the sacrifices it takes to be at the least a winner at the NPC level and not just once, but continuously.

Very very very few people are born with the genetics to compete at Mr. O regardless of how dedicated they are or how many PEDs they take.

Kai strikes me as the kind of guy that frequently trips on shrooms. Grapefruit or no grapefruit, I still like the fella.
