Looking at running this program for next bulk cycle. I like how he has both the Pl and bb side of things incorporated. Also he seems to have his nutrition plan pretty on point.

Yes, I did my own little variation of it and it was a really good fit for my training preferences. I still incorporate the parts I liked the best about it into my current routine. The part I liked the best about it was, just as you mentioned, incorporating PL and BB styles into the program. I think he is especially knowledgeable in the nutrition side of things, believe his degree is related to that. His routine is a nice way to get a good base of strength and mass.

I'm definitely thinking about giving it a go never squat, bench, and deadlifted in 1 day 3 times a week so I'm liking the challenge of it. I can Definitely see how it can build some serious strength and size.

Personally, I like the idea of training most muscle groups twice per week and focusing one day on strength and one on hypertrophy.

He claims natty,I wonder. His programs are dual factor training..good stuff.I ran his phat a while back.Great balance of strength, hypertrophy and frequency.

Idk about natty some people have crazy genetics though . But one thing for sure he's definitely a beast.

His program looks solid I've debated it for sure but i think it's too high frequency for myself. I believe he gets regular blood test to prove he is natty but who knows really. He just launched his website for nutritional advice and customization plans looks cool my buddy got it but it's 10 bucks a month and that's the cost of a mucho burrito soo.... Ya I know where I'm putting my money :p

I've done it for awhile it was good but I feel it is to high volume. Unless you are at the point that such volume benefits you. For me personally I stick with lower volume and build up certain muscles with more volume as needed.

It definitely looks like it could be taxing on joints and such, but I think I can go 13 weeks without to many problems. I definitely don't see repeating it many times in a row.

I looked even more into the routine and it is sweet but i dont want to bother with the part about wrapping bands to contrict bloodflow and what not..that killed it for me.

Occlusion training is actually pretty sweet been doing it to bring up my medial quad for about 3 weeks now and there is defiantly more growth due to it. Is a pain in the ass to set up and the pump hurts but if you got the time you can spend in the gym to do it then don't let that throw you off.

I've been doing the program. Started week 2 today and I can definitely tell it's gonna be challenge but I'm liking it. I can totally see how it can bring strength up a lot. It's really a well layed out program but haven't tried the blood flow restriction don't really have time to fool with it , but I imagine the pump would be insane.

I've done occlusion training, I liked but I feel you can only do it once in awhile. Really putting it in a routine I felt worked at first then backfired.

I noticed solid progress then regression (nothing else changed in my routine at the time). Whenever I try something new and different I make sure all other variables remain the same.

In conclusion I don't think it is wise to cut down blood flow all the time. Just my .02 cents from my experience.

Layne is a very intelligent man. However in this day and age of Internet. Everyone thinks they need to reinvent themselves and come up with novel ideas in order to stay relevant and/or create buzz.

I'm on week 9 of the program and its definitely a challenge but it's been great so far. It's not a a "bodybuilding" program per set but my body has changed dramatically on it. Getting used to the amount of benching and squatting In a week is the biggest challenge.
