Anyone use CBD or Weed to sleep/relieve anxiety on gear

Anyone used CBD or smoke weed on cycle to help unwind and sleep?
Sounds like a funny question, but it’s genuine. Found that indica/CBN/CBD knocks me out on cycles where I’m overstimulated

Curious to see anecdotes!
 
In the past yea especially on tren, don’t really use weed anymore tho. Weed sleep makes me feel even worse than shit sleep after a little while and I didn’t like how I started to become dependent on it so I stopped. Not hating on weed just personally felt like I became more lazy and unmotivated. Started to feel less motivated to train especially which was like the final straw for me lol.
 
I can’t hack it, especially on high dosages or tren, the combination just makes my head to ‘loud’ if that’s the right word, Everything I get from the gear just gets amplified. And something in it makes me feel like shit for the next 12 hours after waking up, like I’ve been deflated

Not really a fan of any other effects, because it just generally feels like an irresponsible choice, and while gear doesnt give me anxiety, too much thc will—but it is a great sleep aid & compared to other addictive sleep aids it has pretty minimal side effects.

Have you tried CBN? I hear it's the best strain for staying asleep- I struggled with that on tren tenfold.

To both of you, my point is don't mask a problem from one drug with an additional drug. Solve the problem itself. To start, can you achieve what you want from trenbolone with something else, without having to deal with the insomnia? Can you lower the dose and not have the insomnia?
 
A few things I consider to be quality daily additions for overall health: some are foods, some are ancillary drugs, some are OTC supplements. A controlled, not-to-get-fucked-up dose of THC/CBD, why not

Now….using it to mask sides from a drug that doesn’t agree with you? Maybe in specific/short term/accepted risk:reward situations, yeah.

As a cover for “I like using 300mg of tren or 1000mg of stims a day” - not great.

Not using it as a coverup for tren- I ended up dropping it. Swapped to NPP, feel great too!

I was just searching for anecdotes of active bodybuilding men who utilize THC and CBD for sleep, maybe who also are dealing with similiar issues. I find they help me unwind when I just can't seem to hit the mark.

Tren is definitely the worst offender when it comes to overstimulation but I feel like even mildly elevated e2 on deca makes my head feel like it’s in overdrive, I just feel kinda wired. Idk if it’s a synergy between pr and e2 or what. Tren is more of a fight or flight feeling, nand feels like adhd mode.

Yeah. Felt like I was on edge even at night with tren. Know some guys who smoke exclusively at night to unwind from the constant adrenaline they feel from it. Would that hinder gains at all?

No it won't hinder your gains. It will definitely help you get your meals in and more lol. That can be good and bad if you have a sweet tooth. As long as you're training and getting your meals in, then it will not hinder your gains.

Naw just super heavy Indicas, or edibles to make sure the dose is not overdone. I don’t really think it’s that deep haha

Same, but I never run enough tren where it’s flat out bad for sleep but on a cut getting sleep as high quality as possible helps a lot to fight off feeling drained.
 
I've used it to help ease into sleep before on prep when I would sit in bed and not sleep

I don't think it really helps anxiety

Cbd cannabis may help anxiety. Gaba type supplements, or hormones are what you want for anxiety

Regular gaba powder supplement. In some people it crosses the brain blood barrier slightly or some in others it doesn't. It seems to for me. That said I use it more sparingly than I used to

Pregnonlone is a hormone I'm thinking of using before bed on eq as it seems to give some subtle energy, and it also causes sleepiness by effecting gaba a , and it's hormone based

Gaba a drugs like Xanax are too easy to get addicted to I guess if you truly have super mental discipline you could do them 1-2 xs a week like I did at one time with phenibut from 2005-2025 , but it seemed to stop working so this year after it ran out is the first year I havent bought any

Eq esp moderate or high doses seems to cause anxiety more than anything. I've usually used low test moderate to high eq so maybe that was a mistake that caused low e2 and or low gaba levels

Ive heard using a 2:1 test to eq approach doesn't cause e2 to lower too much and may have seen blood results showing this

11 hydroxy thc is what happens when you eat an edible, decarbed THC, and is way stronger and last way longer. For sleep this stuff works

As for smoking it I've done it pre workout and was okay and may do it from time to time but not a big fan of it these way. Plus sometimes I like to converse in the gym, and on THC , well it seems conversation s are better without it and that matters to me

It's easy to get caught up in it , definitely don't do it for your line of work for money unless maybe you work for or around it, bc I've done that and had too many difficult times, work and money comes easier without it, ime
