Anyone use CBD or Weed to sleep/relieve anxiety on gear

Remember guys THC itself is a progestin and raises prolactin. Also the drug sends a not negligible percentage of the population permanently mental. Like violent schizophrenia.

Probably easier just to you know... Not take another psychoactive substance to neutre the effects of another psychoactive substance.
 
Additionally is there a good timing window for THC pre bed? I usually hit my cart as I want to sleep (10 mins before) and notice I get overstimulated at first then crash, is it more effective to do it earlier and let the crash aid you to sleep? I try to avoid the hunger it causes too lol

Or am I thinking this too deeply

I don't think it's overthinking it if it's effective, my brother brought some flower over today and I haven't smoked flower in a while and I got pretty high, not necessarily sleepy but definitely relaxed , more of a body high compared to the dab, but I absolutely just cannot stand how it smells anymore it smells good when it's a flower form ,but as soon as you start smoking that shit it stinks like shit. i'm honestly losing interest in smoking but every time I try to quit I get on day four and it's just too much, the anxiety the uneasiness etc.

Tried doing my smoke 30 mins pre bed, sort of helped, still figuring out timing. I feel you on the quitting part. I shouldn't be getting myself addicted again but it's seriously helped my sleep. You're not alone with the withdrawals (if you can even call it that). Do you smoke until you're high or just before that point personally? Curious, thanks for your replies

I take one dab and that does the trick for me , I don't keep smoking , I try to minimize it

If a dab is concentrated is it resin or hash?

I got into decarbing cannabis( same as an edible) , CBD and thc, and it's 2-5 x s stronger . Two days ago, Christmas eve, I took a THC bud and CBD bud , before bed, head was spinning in sleep and I thought this is too much. I slept in Christmas, and took a few hours to do anything bc high was there. Lasted all day basically

It was too much from now on. It's less, orally consumed. I did this before back in september and way to high. Smoking a bowl doesn't come close to this, this feels like room is spinning type stuff and I have to lay down, probably overloading cb1 receptors to the max , nice to want to stay away from it or not think about it even if it's only a day or two afterwards

It would be the equivalent of too high mgs edible , just decarbing it you can save money and sprinkle it in your eggs, or make a peanut butter ball, or just eat it and wash the taste with a caffiene free coke zero

Or go the extra mile and make budder. THC is highly fat soluble so it will bind to any fats. I decarb my shit, toss it in a crockpot with some coconut oil, let it slow cook over night and strain it with cheesecloth the next day. You can use the resulting oil to make any baked good or eat it raw. Sky's the limit.

The leftover plant matter can be used to make a batch of dirty brownies or just toss it if you don't care for the texture/flavor.
