even tho perhaps it was dumb, i appreciate him giving away gear to prove his quality, after all he gave it to a longtime member, i would do the same.

He can prove his quality without resorting to the tired notion that one can cement their placement here by trading free gear for reviews.
Members length of service means nothing. Take that scamming fuck that took the free gear for example. Here for many years, but still a scumbag.
i think this source will do fine for himself. All he needs to do is give members a reason to use his services.
if u stay on the forum long enough u can differentiate between the longtime scammers and the trusty people. free gear for reviews is not a bad idea since he is risking his whole business for nothing. if he picked a trusty person, that ACTUALLY left a review like "used his tren ace shit's legit, g2g", then it's game for him and u wouldn't think that was stupid idea anymore, he got unlucky tho. well not really unlucky he could've seen that scammer didn't post for the last 6 months.

Free gear for reviews IS a bad idea. That review means nothing. The source knows that this specific customer will be leaving a review in return so of course he’ll make sure what the customer receives is legit. Random testing is the only way to go about things.

people won't get ur product unless u have random testing, so it's chicken and the egg problem, sometimes giving a little away for free to kickstart to prove u got something real is not a bad idea if u got 0 customers.
