As far as i recall, the Panda calculator was free to use. They were also trying to sell ad space in the email, that's what the prices were for.

If you want, only brew in multiples of 100 ml to make math easier.

As for raw-oil displacements: that's total BS and not even big-pharma bothers with that:
Pour about half the oil, add BA, BB, raws
then TOP IT OFF with oil to the desired volume, again that's what big-pharma does.
