Arimidex vs. Proviron

I always thought that Arimidex and Proviron were fundamentally the same. (both inhibiting the aromatase enzyme) Is this true. Can anyone elaborate on the properties of both at a molecular level? I guess I'm just trying to differentiate the two so I know which one would be better suited for my cycle.

Cycle: Sus250 - Deca - D-bol with Nolva and Clomid maybe HCG

They are VERY different.Proviron is actually a steroid while arimidex is a aromatase inhibitor.Read the profiles on both.I would prefer arimidex over the proviron anyday.

They are very different, but it depends on what you intend to use them for. An AK-47 and a "no trespassing" sign are very different too, but they both keep people off of your yard. Proviron has the added benefit of being androgenic and can therefore contribute to muscle hardness. Adex is a proven AI (type II), whereas proviron hasn't been "proven" to be so, although there is little doubt. On lower dose test cycles, proviron is fine for most. I still prefer Adex

Hahaha, that's a good analogy, Einstein... the AK-47 and the no trespassing sign.

It was pretty late last night when I wrote that one down.....
I can't be sharp at all hours of the day.

Proviron does certainly have its place. With no real E2 inhibition numbers to speak of, we can't just write off proviron. very few people will complain of water retention while using it. I still would use Ldex during pct, as AIs can be very beneficial to us during pct, and proviron has mixed revies on suppression......there'd be no good reason to take any chances during pct, as this is a very sensitive and crucial period.
Proviron's androgenic muscle hardening efects are a plus as are its ability to bind SHBG and allow for a greater percentage of bioavailable test and other AAS.

I use proviron with lower doses of test instead of dex and love it. Does it job to keep water off and gives you hardened look

I have used both with Test and EQ. Both did a good job keeping water retention to a minimum. Proviron has one advantage: Elevating the libido. It seems that with high levels of aromatizing steroids, Arimidex would do a better job of minimizing retention. With moderate amounts, both work fine for that.
